Ever wondered how epic a Christmas lights switch-on event would be in central London? We did too, so we travelled all the way to Trafalgar Square to see the famous tree on its big day. But was it worth it? ... why not come along with us and find out for yourself! ☔🎄

Wes was right with his do do do anxciety swivel. Lots of lows and highs. But it's so comforting to get back to your boat (apart from the boat jobs} and chill before sleep. Hopefully you will get a chilax morning before work! xxxx

They could have borrowed the tree on my yard that is humongous!!! 🌲 🤣😂 As always, you make the best of every situation, even a Christmas Sapling Lighting 😊 Wish the weather had been better. That light show you went to made one I saw about 7 years ago look so amateurish. That was spectacular! I am glad you and the Bears 🐻 had a good time, and ate lots of yummy food. 😊🤗 Kathy

I always do a squint test when I put in Christmas lights. Slightly squint your eyes when looking at the tree. If you see any gaps, move the lights around. This tree would definitely fail the squint test.😂

The tree in Trafalgar Square is always so dwarfed by the buildings around it but its' symbolism is lovely. Try Carnaby St and Portabello Rd, they're really cute at Christmas 😊❤

Somerset House is stunning at Christmas; Kew Gardens too. Also, Covent Garden ❤ We always spend 4 days in London before Christmas seeing shows and meeting friends. It is busy but we love it. Big kisses to Rufus and Dupes ❤

I know it seems like Thursday was a bit of a wash out , 😕 but for me I really enjoyed it .The 🌲 was a bit small ,but everything else you showed us was great , especially the burger chips .😮. Rufus at the end getting his paws washed ,I knew before you said it that he and mom were not friends anymore 😅,but maybe treat will help .And after a long day nothing better ,cuppa ,and fire .Thank you both .😊❤🌲🎁💚☘️🤗

I'm ashamed of you both not knowing that " this thing" overlooking Trafalgar square is actually the great menorah to celebrate the 8 days of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. The first night is on the 7th December when the first two lights of the nine are lit up. 😭
