Exactly, I was trying to get the magenta pearl for lore. I thought it was going to be typical rain world difficult, but… Next thing I know all of my karma was drained(I was at ten!) and had drowned so many times that I could no longer count them on my fingers. Jetfish are now my mortal enemy
This one, the red pearl one in FA (fuck Rain Deer) and the long leech infested subaquatic section in Drainage System on your way to Garbage Wastes, those are the worst three, fight me
It's still not as painful to me as unfortunate development. I was literarally a newbie playing as monk and holy shit like 80% of my deaths and several hours was spent there perishing
The same thing happened to me, but it wasn't a vulture, but that big whale monster thing (no idea what name it has, but I think it is the biggest enemy)
i once got chased down by a salamander, i get in a nest and it closes, the bitch gets into the tunnel. When hibernation ends, it's in the small compartment with me. i died 10+ times trying to get out just to get chomped by an axolotl right outside the nest
It's a very unfair game. The little fun I had was just ruined at every turn. Don't even get it. And I loved the concept and the procedural everything. But then again, it's just unfair at every turn. Why put a freaking death plant next to a freaking vault I won't ever, ever be able to get back to? It's just evil for a game, or lizards eating you at the frame you get out of a pipe but you had no way of knowing it was there. And I do not want to play again, so whatever too bad for the rest of the content. I absolutely hate such labyrinth with a devouring passion and I always have. The worst pat of it all is how there is a map but it's so useless in general because it's horribly done and unclear everytime I open it up I go, "nope" can't stand it nothing is clear, takes too much time to adjust the brain to tat mess in the first place. Waste of my money the 2 euros I put into the game.
