This Mystery Box is just a perfect example of toys hitting different in the early 2000s. I love what we get today with the sculpts and articulation, but we don't get display bases or play sets anymore and that is a real shame.

Awesome video. I am not as fortunate as you to have saved all of the bases. But I do have a bunch of them. Whenever I go to flea markets , yard sales or comic shops or shows I look for the bases I still need. I am getting close but not done yet. You making these videos just encourages me to hunt harder. Thank you for doing this.

They don't make bases like they used to when it comes to Marvel Legends. At least Marvel Selects carry on the tradition of intricate details and cool features that aren't found as much with Legends anymore - I'd take some extra unique bases or other accessories over a BAF part I don't plan on using most of the time. Speaking of which, I should find a good destructible car base that I can have a Marvel Select Rhino run over for my display...

I've got the JJJ desk, as well as the Toybiz Daredevil and Elektra bases

One of the many reasons l have never liked Hasbro and their figures as much as the beautiful work ToyBiz put out

Even know there just bases it's nice to appreciate the little details on some of them.

Amazing video the old figures were more detailed sculpted and colouring was amazing and there were allot of accessories and articulation but now new figures are not more detailed sculpted and colouring is not that great and very less accessories the old figures were legendary

Early 2000s toys were the best Collector items. The Vault Guardsman base belonged to the Spider-Man Classics series 1 Venom, the Wall display base with the Symbiote was for the Symbiote Spider-Man in the same series.

Another great video! I remember back in the early 200's my then girlfriend and I would go to Toys R Us in Brooklyn and I would grab up all the Marvel Legends releases as I wanted to collect all of the figures. Seeing a lot of those bases bought back some great memories. I think I still have a few to this day. I know I have some of those Spider-Man and the early Captain America and Iron Man still. Lol that JJJ base with him pulling off the webs off his face

Yo, that X-Men movie X-ray adamantium skeleton diorama is friggin sweet best display piece I've ever seen. Love your stuff and thankyou for showcasing!

Another outstanding video! Again, I am kicking myself SO hard for getting rid of a lot of the figures came with those bases! Those wall attachments would look so amazing in my display room now! I still have the Ultimate Iron Man with his base, though. I used to have all of the X-men figures from the first two movies. The Storm base attached to a lever on her back which raised her arms n lights in the base would flash as u pulled the lever on the base down. I loved the Magneto figure!(because I love Magneto & Sir Ian Mckellen as Magneto🤘🏾) N because the it's a great figure lol the base has magnets in the broken windows next to the train track attachment(& another identical window, I believe is on the opposite end) that drop the tracks n fire another piece of track out of the broken car doors respectively when they come in contact with the magnets in his feet. They just don't make action figures like they used to lol now we're lucky if they have weapons

Hmm this seems like quite a interesting video and I’m all for it!!!

Really wish modern Marvel Legends figures came with so many great accessories and comic books, but I can't blame them, over the last two decades, the production of figures have doubled/tripled/quadrupled, they can't put the extra care like they used to for figures like they did in theToyBiz era, which is why figures from that age were highly articulated and had great paint and sculpt work, which are basically what import figures are nowaydays.

Some of them had pretty good detail
