I don't like leaf shaped blades, nor the finger hole. YET, because Spyderco takes heat treatment SERIOUSLY, and they are easy to modify, I will continue to buy from them...Buck, Winkler, LT Wright, Cold Steel, Vosteed, have my respect as well. BENCHMADE prices lost my trust in them. No other company charges so much for equal materials

GBall, great video and I agree 100%!! I own 9 PM2’s and the 2 Cutlery Shoppe exclusives I have are my favorite for sure. Best blade shape for the PM2 in my opinion. Peace!!

I love the orange and black, not the biggest fan of a perfectly straight edge (prefer a sheep’s foot in most cases). Just the slightest curve is ideal and reminds me of you GBall 🍆🥰 I don’t mind Wharnies that much if the handle is high enough to use it on a board… maybe like the Voodoo or Vosteed Gator to illustrate my preference?

I can see it not being useful to everyone for sure. For me it's pretty dead on. Even has a stabby tip. The only illustration I need is my GBalls in your mouth. I love that and I no you do too hehe 😘

It really was loud to me initially but it has really grown on me. To the point where I was going to change the scales originally but now I think I'll leave them. At least for awhile. Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻

100% the wharny pm2 is the best model... I have sent spydie like 100 emails over the last couple years to make a wharny pm2 in S90v. That would literally be Golden!

Couldn't agree more. I don't have the para 3... Never have but have had the pm2 for years and it's been phenomenal. Zero complaints and I kept mine dead stock. Great video as always!

I like mine, need to carry it more. first thing I did was tear it apart and start modsibg mine though, stayed stock for less than a week

I keep some completely stock and others I'll Change the clip. For work knives I keep the stock clip on. For just EDC knives I'll switch the clip. Either way a good sharp edge, a good heat, treat, good ergonomics and a solid lock. It's hard to lose buying Spyderco

Have the exact same one but put a Lynch stubby on it. Just bought some Lava Fat Carbon from Sharp Dressed knives but need to still get a new plug from Meton Boss will let ya know how it goes. Have a bunch of 2’s this one is the best and my favorite!

YEAH BUDDY! someday i will probably get some scales for this, but the orange has grown on me lol. i dont have a ton of orange knives. someday titanium will probably go on, maybe make it ALL black

Oh XHP nice, I wish it was in their beautiful stonewash. They have the best looking stonewash ever. I need that BHQ Cru-Wear GB2, with some Micarta scales on that beast.

that would be sick!! i no they did an uncoated satin version, but for corrosion protection ill take the coating plus we know spyderco is doing the HT properly so that really helps

Have the PM2 in S35VN but not a big fan of the compression lock. I carry it once in a while but others get carried way more. Love everything else about it.

Don't like how you have to get in to disengage it? I've gotten use to it over the years, one thing I love about it, is with that and the stop pin it's really strong and tough. Makes me like it 😆

@@GBall_Vision I'm left handed as far as writing and throwing but ambidextrous with most other things. I have an old arm injury that damaged nerves, ligaments and everything else. I carry on my right side but detailed tasks are more difficult with a couple fingers. I never feel like I have ahold of the knife while pinching the lock. I don't hate it, I just prefer other locks. Lol

I've got an S45VN coated PM2 that I put Cerberus Ultem scales on, but the wharnie PM2 from CS is the spyderco I want most next. I think it would be sick with a set of black ultem scales.

I know nothing of HXP ...i hear its better than S30V, others say its equal to S45VN. I bought a left handed PM 2 (S45VN) , but found out sadly, that after- market scales for LEFT handed specimens are hard to find, and limited in styles

so far the spyderco XHP is doing great, i have a few SOGs in XHP, they seem similar but id have to say spyderco does it better no question. i love XHP especially from spyderco, anything from spyderco is usually on point

@@GBall_Vision I saw gungrips had a post that he needed some stock shaman scales shipped to Switzerland so I took a chance and got into contact and shipped the scales since I have a modded shaman in fat cf . It was like $20 plus the loss of the scales . The deal was he would ship back a set of wood shaman scales. I just told him to do whatever is cool or he likes . They should ship back soon he said . I think the post is still up for other scales he wants to. I ll let you know how it goes when they come .

But dude s 1911 pew pew grips look fricken sweet gball . Here we are, just a couple hard working carpenters from the country reaching out to people all over the world and making trades . We should trade something sometime . I m considering trading the exploit and somethjng for something nice . It s got a real nice snappy detent too . I heard others were weak . I got it because I like Todd knife and tool designs and the backspacer , clip and over all look was dope to me . Outside 💨 💨 atm all twisted but very happy . I hope things are well . I noticed today how much better Christmas time is when there’s kids around . They believe and that is what makes it so fun for me . Things that come with age ak guess . Also , helping neighbors and relatives who can’t help themselves with our skills . I don’t mind once a while hell in someone for a couple hours or trading hours .

There’s like 2,5 inch of edge on a 4,5 inch handle and it doesn’t even include a sharpening choil and looks like a dead pelican.

3 and 1/8th inch of cutting edge, you can easily customize a sharpening choil in to these, it doesnt bother me one bit. and ratios are dumb in my opinion, idc if the handle is slightly longer than blade or even vice versa when it comes to a fixed blade. dont let ratios prevent you from choosing a great knife with great materials and quality. especially with a handle this comfortable, id take thing kind of knife all day everyday, so would 10s of thousands of other people. its a tool it needs to be comfortable and useful, the pm2 is def both

Also, yes to crown the perfect pocket knife, the comfort in pocket relative the usefulness is important if you really carry it in your pocket every day and not just fiddle in front of the TV.
