This thing is awesome; that's nearly the same price as just buying all the components. The laptop memory kinda sucks but I imagine ddr4 makes up for it? Even though I love building PC's I've always wanted an aio like this. It's just so clean and perfect for taking your pc with you.

I use cd's, DVDS, and BLU-RAYS with mine. The picture quality when it comes to gaming and watching HD movies & TV shows is just absolutely stunning.

I used to have a Y50-70 laptop from Lenovo, top spec one apart from the display - I went 1080p and not UHD or whatever the other option was. I sold it in October since I moved home and had my desktop there but I will always remember how great it was. And that's where it all started for Lenovo I think, their first great gaming laptop. I loved that thing, if I ever buy another gaming laptop it's gonna be from them or Razer if I break a bank.

This is one of the closest things I would actually consider buying at CES

This could potentially be the first AIO machine I would ever consider buying. Ever. Linus is spot on here - this one does indeed tick a lot of boxes, most specifically the modularity/upgradability aspects. Interesting indeed.

I've never wanted an all in one before in my life, but this thing changes my mind lol. Release a barebones version and this would seriously compete to be my next option for a computer when I'm able to upgrade.

Whoa. $1300 for i5, 1060, and a 144hz 1440p ips freesync display. That sounds decent, but the listing on Lenovo site shows $500 more for a 1070.

Not that you'd know in America but here in the UK we have the Viglen Omnino and RM One all in one systems. From standard they usually have 2nd and 3rd gen Intel core i chips but you can literally tear out the entire (standard MATX) motherboard and replace them with whatever you want. Same with the graphics card and the ram, if it will fit in a half height tower PC it will fit in one of them. No I won't imply they're more powerfull but they're certainly more versatile.

I actually use an all-in-one as my monitor for my newly built PC, and i have no problems with it except for loud noise from the All-in-one PC (which has to stay on even when i am just using the monitor) and the fact that it takes forever to start up which completely nullifies the fast boot time of newly built PC. Otherwise, they work fine as monitors.

why are PC's so ugly. Only Microsoft Surface Studio looks beautiful but it's not for gaming.

If I was looking for a new Desktop PC right now I'd actually be really interested in this. Pricing is decent, you get the convenience of the AIO form factor, but the ability to upgrade components. Lenovo is really creating some interesting hardware lately.

This is amazing! Having one of this on a desk would look so damn clean and simple. I am blown away, I have never been so unsure on what kind of pc to get! Laptops are getting better and better and now this comes! I have a Cooler Master storm scout 2 advanced case already and planning on building a gaming device, but the convenience of a good gaming laptop or something like this is to great! AaaaaH!

1299 for this seems like a really good price. If hadn't just finished my build for the next five years then I would've went for this cause I am in the market right now for a nice qHD freesync display.

I am surprised that up until now this is the first time you talk about this device Linus. It's been on sale for quite some time now. The thing that is puzzling me is that I am pretty freaking sure that this was cheaper a month ago than it is now on Lenovo's website. I am not sure how much cheaper it was, but definitely a good amount. The other thing, pricing currently is quite akward: *IdeaCentre AIO Y910 27", Part Number: F0CJ0009US: (i5, GTX 1070, 12GB RAM) - Amazon: 1371$ - Lenovo's website: 1800$ *IdeaCentre AIO Y910 27", Part Number: F0CJ000BUS (i7, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM) - Amazon: Can't find it. - Lenovo's website: 2300$ And there is a different model at Microsoft's store that neither Lenovo's website nor Amazon have, which is: Ideacentre AIO Y910-27ISH F0CJ, (i7, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM) - Microsoft's website: 2000$. Can anybody confirm on the earlier price for the GTX 1080 model on Lenovo's website? And how much was it? I am pretty sure not 2300$.

If i was not into building my own systems, I would really consider this as an option as I like Lenovo as a whole, and you can at least upgrade it some down the road to keep it going longer.

When comparing this price to the price of the parts so you can build it yourself, the DYI PC value will always win. But you're not paying just for the parts, your paying for the: form factor + prebuilt + brand + build quality + upgradability So when comparing this to other similar all-in-ones, I think this is perfect for gamers.

FYI: they dont sell it with a 1060, just with a 1070/1080 the price for the 1070/i5 edition is 1800USD the price for the 1080/i7 edition is 2500USD
