VR actually has a lot of potential. Been having an absolute blast playing in VR, it's way, way more immersive than being seated while looking at a flatscreen. Furthermore, Quest 3 and Quest 3S provide incredible value for their prices.

I am baffled why this doesn’t get more views on RU-vid, this is the best Tech/AI weekly Video Podcast on the platform. I realize that most listen to the Podcast on other platforms, but it still seems odd.

I don’t think Meta will be a winner in the long run but more a bust. Folks are already fading away from AI other than for practical work application. 👎🏻

Oh, the delicious irony! Upon publication of his fantastic piece in the NYT Magazine, Steven Johnson caught incredible shit from some interviewees for "platforming" views contrary to theirs as social justice fundamentalists. Foremost among them was linguistics professor Emily Bender, who had written, along with two Google employees who were subsequently fired, "On the dangers of stochastic parrots: Can language models be too big?🦜" Now Steven has helped Google put the lie to that ideologically driven and otherwise stupid paper.
