When I was 10 or 11 years old I watched my first horror movie. Here's the story of how I almost passed out watching it... of course it was a Saw movie. #horror
Ich guck dich jetzt schon seit 1-2 Jahren und ich hatte zwar immer schon gedacht, dass ich einen kleinen Akzent raushöre, aber ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass du aus Deutschland kommst… Respekt.
My first experience with SAW scared me from watching them. I was like 8 at the time and at a DVD rental place with some friends. One of my friends found a SAW boxset where the case was designed to look like Billy the puppet. He jumps out from around a corner, shoves the box in my face and screams to jumpscare me. Thus my fear of Billy was born and I wouldn't watch a SAW movie until I was 15.
Hey bro just want you to know that I watch your vids religiously and I see the effort you put in. Every one of your vids are super entertaining to me, as long as I’m alive you have a fan right here🙏
the first horror movie I saw was "The ring" with my father, it was kinda a challenge that turned into a deep passion, great video, keep it up it's top tier quality content !
It's ironic how he was so scared of the saw movies when he was younger, and now he makes a living off of them. Also your channel is really underrated, keep up the good work!
My first exposure to the Saw series was Saw 2 and was completely by chance. Saw 2 came out in 2005 and in this case my family was watching it on tv and idk if it was on dvd or broadcasting but assuming it was just on tv, I had to be about 7-8. We were at my grandma’s on a Sunday and I was around the house playing with my siblings/cousins and happened to walk into the living room as Amanda was being tossed into the needle pit. I couldn’t even process what was happening but I was just completely transfixed to the tv til my older sister grabbed my arm and pulled me away saying I couldn’t watch that. I didn’t actually sit down and watch a Saw movie for another 10 years.
I enjoy all your videos but this one cemented me being a "watch every video by you" kind of subscriber. Thanks for the story - we're roughly the same age so I could relate to your descriptions from back then. Cheers!
YOOOO ONE MISSED CALL WAS LITERALLY THE FIRST HORROR MOVIE I WATCHED‼️‼️‼️ It was the english version and my aunt showed it to me as kids i mustve been 9-10 myself but it left a scar on my mental that im 99% sure manifested as a love for the horror genre
Interesting i recount my experience with my first horror movie which was saw 6 really differently. I think i was like 11 or something but i found it really entertaining. I was with my siblings which probably helped me not be scared.
I have a story to share: As a kid born in 2002, India, my parents often bought me CDs and DVDs of movies and then I would watch them on our TV. My parents were not that concerned or should I say, were not aware enough that how graphic movies could get. So, I did saw many graphic and 18+ movies as a kid, like Gajni, Hangover etc. ofcourse I didn't understand most of the things but yeah. But now the real story begins. I was 16 at the time, when I first watched an anime, Named school days, I had exams after 2 days so I basically tried to binge it by watching the first 3-4 episodes and then the last one, and that was my mistake, even if I saw violence in my childhood, I didn't get affected by it, but when you are a 16 year old, knowing many more things, when you see such things like that in that last episode of school days anime, it gets you a lifetime trauma.
Hey, big fan of the channel. Couldn't help but notice tho, in the section at 1:37 you've got a looottt of train/transit related videos. I'm also super super into trains myself🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Jesus Christ, I was impressed with my friend watching very first Saw but thats completely different league. My first horror movie I can remember was 1408, since then its one of my favorite movies.
The movie that did this to me when I was a kid was Willy Wonka. Terrified me for year. Watched it a few months ago and thought to myself "how tf did this movie make my child self wake up in the middle of the night"
oh boy. The first saw movie I accidentally saw was Saw 7 and holy shit, i was like maybe 8 or 9 and still remember watching it on Cinemax and i can't say i was traumatized or anything but the traps that the guy had to sacrifice parts of him to save other people on traps was insane. It was like 11 pm and rainy which is the perfect atmosphere for this when i think about it. I think I watched Friday the 13th after this i didn't know what they were then it was whatever playing on Cinemax and when they were cool. I genuinely felt like I discovered something others didn't know. I was watching them alone and the story and writing didn't bother me at all cos i had no clue what was happening or what people are talking about thanks to my language skills or lack of. It was great, a very found memory of mine. I didn't even know the name of the movies were lol.
I'm new around here, and I just wanted to say that I really like your contents. Gotta love some good analysis of horror universe. Bist du aber tatsächlich Deutscher? Du hast wirklich gar keinen Dialekt. Oder lebst du im Moment in den USA? I'm so confused lol.
For me, it was The Fly by David Cronenberg. I saw it when I was 8 and to this day I am still afraid of worms and maggots because of the birthing scene. I was way too young to watch this movie^^
So like my father showed me the Saw films when I was like 9. Fell in love with them. Can confirm has had a non-insignificant impact on my writing style. Lmao.
holy shit you are from germany? at first I thought you were like dutch or nordic but then I thought about that you American. holy shit your english is rlly good
