in hallows eve hes a demon but damien said that art in teriffier doesn't have anything to do with art in hallows eve. whats amazing is he still has a supernatural aura about him when he's actually human. that's also what makes him better then pennywise. you can feel that ickyness where as penny has a retarded look or just cgi, both with not much impact.

The most frustrating thing about the movie is that the victims would only always stab the clown once and then run. I was yelling at the screen to keep stabbing. It was so annoying. After a while, I started cheering for the clown.

The blonde’s death was horrific, it’s horrifying because sawing people like that was an execution method back then, and the reason the victim would be upside down was because not only was it humiliating, but also because the blood would run down to their head, keeping the victim conscious for as long as possible, and the executioners could saw their way from the groin to the head as far down as they pleased, either doing it quickly, or agonizingly slowly, and the victim could do nothing to stop it. It’s truly horrifying, and they just HAD to do it in this movie.

You asked why Art didn’t run after the girl when she was trying to break free from the chair and why he let himself get beat with the 2 by 4, I think Art mainly enjoys scaring women more than killing them. I mean he first kidnapped brunette 1 and forced her to watch her friend die, don’t forget when he first saw brunette 1 in the house he just struck a pose before running after her. And when he first attacked her he cut her heel instead of trying to stab her somewhere more vital. I could go on with the bicycle and the skin suit, there’s likely more I’m forgetting but my point is Art enjoys the hunt, the fear, more than the kill, at least with women, is he sexist? Maybe, but it could also be just preference. Also the movie is Terrifier, implying that Art enjoys terrifying people.

The part that made me extremely disturbed wasn't the gore or jumpscares, (though they still were very disturbing), no, the part that really got to me was the chase scene between the girls sister and Art. The way he slowly came to her hiding space wearing the skin of the cat lady and the sister terrified out of her mind in that little locker gave it a very claustrophobic and dreadful feeling that made me feel as if I was in that situation. So props to the film for making me feel that I guess.

He's far scarier than Pennywise to me because the fear he induces is more human, if that makes sense. Pennywise is scary, but since he's obviously otherworldly there's an element of surrealism and detachment to it. His scares feel more like a nightmare, though you can feel pain. Art, on the other hand, is just pure primal fear. It's the fear an actual serial killer victim would feel, for instance. We know Pennywise isn't real, but Art is. I'd rather be killed by a monster than a psycho who tortures their victim for days before finally killing them.

Idk what’s worse that death or the Viking eagle one like in midsummer

@@homosexualitymydearwatson4109 Viking one was faster, this could take up to days. Viking is probably more pain in the start, but this goes on for such a long time

Yes! I came here to say this. I learned it (randomly) on an old BBC Flash game about Shakespearean times.

Actually watched this film thinking it'd be a ridiculous and funny B movie horror and ended up loving it. Still have nightmares about Art the clown.

The only thing this movie suffers from is lack of a plot. But if you like clowns, blood and guts…. it’s for you. The Terrifier isn’t necessarily scary, it’s more of the kills that are more of a shock. The kills aren’t afraid to be gorey or graphic. Also, Art the clowns character. His character is played greatly!

I loved Terrifier this movie was an 80s throwback slasher! I loved the way it was shot and Art himself was the best part he stole the show throughout the whole movie David Howard Thornton killed it! i'm so hyped for Terrifier 2 since that one is coming out next month October 6th in Theaters i'm gonna pre order my tickets soon to see it on the big screen!

There's actually lore behind this movie. Art is a demon, which is why he can't die and can get away with all this craziness.
