The muffuletta is such a good and unique sandwich I’m surprised it hasn’t made its way to other parts of the country, I’d love to have such a place where I live in New Jersey…as long as they maintAined the quality.

They're an incredibly easy sandwich to make and the ingredients should be available almost everywhere in the US. The cured meats and cheese should be available anywhere, the olive salad is easy make yourself. Maybe the bread would be the hardest thing to find.

Yes , Central makes a really good muffuletta but if you go down the street a few doors down you will find Frank's and they make a spectacular muffuletta and they serve it warm. I always get mine there.

From what I’ve heard and this is in my bucket list of eats , the sandwich( I mean ) from what I’ve seen, Is to let the sandwich sit and let the tapenade and olive oil and meats sit for a few hours .
