My first mullet session since the opening day, and it was epic! Mepps spinners and mullet conversions can be bought here: christchurchanglingcentre.co....
This is truly inspiring. Congratulations. From what I can gather, you were using Mepps spinners with a bit of ragworm on the hook . . . I am just starting out as a "mullet stalker", so I am learning as much as I can and value all suggestions / tips that you can share. Thank you!
Hi mate, glad you like the video. Check out this video I did recently, it runs through my mullet set up... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2LeC5S0XMqk.html
So good to see you holding your own with your guests and taking centre stage mate, with all the practice, maybe it should happen more often!! Keep up the great work Gooner Tom 🎣🎣🎣🎣
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 I haven't just yet, I've been targeting the bass, new vid going up later. Definitely soon though, I'm all kitted out and ready to go 😎👌
I could easily hate you Tom, this coming from a frustrated angler awaiting his first mullet. I really need to get down to Christchurch for a couple of days. Great video as always, even better when that music stopped…..just saying. 👍
A great encouraging video Tom. Keep them coming. Can I just ask one question. This seems a fantastic thing to do when I come down to visit my son in Bournemouth. He dosen't fish anymore apart from the times I come down with tackle. Would I need a rod licence for him when fishing in the harbour for the Mullet? Oh, just one more, what would youT consider the best tide to fish? Thanks Andy B
Thanks for the nice comment :-) You don't need a rod licence, but will need a day permit. You can get this on the Go Catch Fish app. My favourite tide is an ebb tide (going out) down to an evening low. So this time of year a low of around 9pm will give perfect fishing from 6pm until 9pm. Nice after work session!
Nice session Tom. I went on the second day, nowt. Just gotta find the time to get back down there. Is the net you using rubberised? as I always have a problem with my hooks getting stuck in a normal mesh.
Hi mate. I did a little video a few weeks back showing the set up, hopefully that'll have all the info you need... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2LeC5S0XMqk.html
Real on this session. Mainly because I'm waiting for my next big delivery of Isome from Japan, so stock are low. Should be here in the next few days though.
Hi Keith. We normally stock these, but are out of stock (they sell very quickly!). They are due back in before the end of the month though. They're £95, which is a bargain for such a beautiful rod. I do have the shorter version in stock at the moment.
