this will be a tale that I tell my children. the tale that their father laughed so hard because an Australian man was laughing at how flat a man's face was in a game. thank you Mr Sunday and the incredible Mason
I love how at all times the player character moves exactly like he's shat in his britches and he's trying to stop too much of it dribbling down into his boots.
@@monokoman5503 In the original MGS there wasn't such thing as neck, it was just blocky head on blocky body. But it was alright despite the limits of the platform.
Play "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" for PC or PS1 if you have the chance, It was my first star wars game, and oh boy.... Was it a bloody experience mate.
I went and saw the new The Mummy right after watching this and through out the whole thing all I could hear in my head was James voice screaming "IT'S THE MUMMY!!"
Tickmayham42 Wow, triggered much? Thanks for the cheap insults! Come on dude, I'm a long-time fan and I know that he is busy and I'm really glad for all his content, and if he wants to make gaming content he should go for it... but not on his main channel, I'm sorry but that's just out of place
Fair enough on the fact that my 1st comment wasn't all that measured, but come on, by Internet standards I was perfectly polite. Also, why should I not be complaining? That's just stupid, just because he does the best he can (which btw, how the hell would you know that) doesn't mean we can't offer criticism on new or existing content so he can get better.
if you think the graphics are bad in this you should play the PS1 Harry potter games like philosopher's stone and the chambers secret they'll give you nightmares
tom lear I played sorcerer stone and am currently playing the chamber of secrets on PC.And i think the graphics are decent for an early 2000 game.Is it that bad on the ps1?
tom lear I don't remember those actually being terrible games like most movie video games. The best movie video game that I remember was definitely X-Men Origins Wolverine for the 360
Lancaster Responding I agree xmen origins game is so much better than the film gruesome as hell and the regeneration was bad ass too but harry potter game like the mummy the faces are smushed so it looks awful
Andrew Richardson I remember they made a ps2 version which looked alot better tbh it was because all the characters faces were smushed into the head block so it looked terrifying
I remember enjoying this game as a kid. Thought this game was terrifying with its dark hallways and tougher enemies in the later parts of the game. Although, there was this really frustrating level where you had to jump between logs on a river of blood. took me forever to get through that level.
I was such a massive fan of the first Mummy movie that I legitimately loved playing this game. However I still needed to use all the cheat codes to beat it.
I used to LOVE the Spider-Man 1 and 2 PS2 games but obviously it's been awhile since I've played them and I don't know how well they'd hold up now... I'd love to watch you guys have a go at them (#2 was defo the best). Or the Matrix PS2 game! That was great (I think).
I remember playing the demo for this on pc and it actually looked decent. I rememebr after beating the demo I wanted to play the full game but I couldn't find it in any shop in our country
They actually haven't even gotten to the REALLY stupid part - the swimming section where 90s- early 2000s action and comedy film hero Brendan Frasier has to swim on an honest to God log/coffin, jumping and ducking with the world's most irresponsive controls (seriously, this game is worth a shot just to see those sections alone, die a lot and then throw the entire rig out because you'll never be clean again). Legends say that Brendan Frasier still hasn't responded the jump command I pressed over 10 years ago...
Love this series. Hope you do one in advance of Homecoming. Maybe include a series of deep cuts. Sega stuff... maybe even the super early C64 game if you can find a playable version.
I'll say one thing about The Mummy on Playstation One: it's far more interesting to watch you guys play it than it is to watch you guys play that Pirates of the Caribbean game on the Playstation 3. I actually had trouble getting myself to watch the entire thing because of how boring and uneventful the game was, no matter how funny you guys got. Here, not only is the game engaging to watch, but you guys were also entertaining. Nice work.
You guys should also bring back the comic book stuff like when you talked about the comic where Luke cage wanted his $20 back or the non canon Star Wars one, I know the editing and animations must be hell but they were some of the best of caravan of garbage
+Mr Sunday Movies I love this shit. You guys are actually entertaining & funny in your commentaries. Usually when I watch "Let's Play's", I have to cycle thru channels 'till I can find commentators that are bearable, or just no commentary at all. Maybe make 'em a little longer, but I have no Real complaints.
you guys are on to a winner here. this was seriously funny!! you should play Men in Black or The Thing game. Would be awesome if you played Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, it's a fantastic game and would love to hear your reactions to the graphics. great work.
James and Maso playing video games really should be a normal thing (if they want it to be) and it doesn't just have to be garbage it could be good games too
Its all fun jokes now but I remember I was terrified by this game when I played it when I was 10. It was the second scariest game after nightmare creatures which was a hole new level of terror when you are a kid.
