Yes Awe. Yes - Dedication. Yes - Hard Work. Some have commented that Dimash practices at least 3 hours a day. Others close to him say Dimash never stops humming singing and simply creating music all day long & probably all night as well! Dimash IS Music and YES, he is well aware of musics ability to connect minds and hearts across cultures and to heal. { Nb. That's part of the reason why he has often included the KOBYZ in his compositions. [ see 'Stranger' ] The 'voice' of this very ancient Kazakh instrument was traditionally believed to have to power to banish bad spirits and to heal. I have yet to see any listener fail to sit up straight & lean forward, ask 'What is that!? and then comment; "I really LIKE that sound!" Hundreds of years on from the creation of this instrument - here in 2022 - most people feel a direct connection with it's voice.} Dimash clearly feels a responsibility toward making connections through music, and works hard to achieve this. It doesn't mean he's some kind of saint! { as some excessively enthusiastic fans like to believe } just that he cares and wants to use his gifts and whatever influence these give him for making the world a slightly better place. The band playing is A Studio. This is their song. Their lead singer died and Dimash did this as a tribute to him. The man standing at the end with applause is Igor Krutoy (billionnaire composer). After hearing Dimash here he wanted to work with him so came out of retirement.

Dimash says himself: 5% talent, 95% hard work. He has been training his voice since he was 5 years old and still he is training about 3 hours every day.
I think maybe one thing that has helped Dimash is that since he began training so young, he probably didn't ever get used to singing badly but started out doing it right (as far as technique goes).

You are correct, none of those other singers have the skill set that Dimash has. I have always enjoyed Josh Groban, Roy Orbison, & Freddy Mercury, but Dimash puts me on another planet. His excellent execution of a huge array of skills (that he keeps adding to as he ages) elevates his performances to a higher level than any other singer I've ever seen. The only downside to being a Dimash Dear is that he's spoiled my ears and ruined my ability to listen to most other singers, except perhaps Pentatonix. Everything else now sounds so simplistic.
I agree 100% I'm a metal head and like music in general but Dimash is set apart in my book. I've seen him live and the quality does not diminhes one bit. Yes, my very favorite song of Dimash ever. I also love Love Is like a Dream and Love of Tired Swans especially the performance at the Kremlin. I read somewhere that he practices daily for about 4 hours but if you see Dimash, he is singing. I think to him it is far more than a career, it is his joy to sing and it is his delight for people to be happy when he does. He completely changed music for me.
