😊 Thanks from Canada! I knew nothing in regards to my own nation’s history of classical music. We are often overlooked in history, even by ourselves!

Nothing much has changed for musicians since the 1800s. So depressing. Thanks for this great channel!!

Canada also had Glenn Gould and Oscar Peterson and now it has Marc Andre Hamelin, luminaries in their fields!

Thank you for taking time to make these videos! I have learned so much about composers and time periods that I am currently studying while I am attending school for music. These videos are both fun and very educational. Would you ever consider doing a brief history of Bártók?

great video. if /when you do follow up and dig into then modern realm, highly reccomend touching on David McIntyre, I was first exposed to his work w this recording of Butterflies and Bobcats by Michelle Schumann [easily found via basic RU-vid search]... when I was searching recordings of her after I performed in a masterclass she held several years ago. definitely recommended listening for both the composer and pianist, they are phenomenal

Why are you playing your examples on a cheap keyboard? You have a piano.
