A behind-the-scenes look at a big band recording session for Cuphead. Music composed by Kristofer Maddigan. Produced and Edited by Peter Strauss. --- Cuphead 4xLP Deluxe Vinyl Soundtrack: store.iam8bit.com/products/cu...
This is perfectly controlled, the sync on almost more than 7 instruments at the same time and still being a magnific piece of art, all of this is just perfect.
1:03 This part is my absolute favourite little section of the entire song. It's just so bouncy and full of energy and life and it makes me wanna get up and start moving. I'm not a massive fan of the game, I'm not into the try, die, try again kinda games, souls-like included, but I be damned if I say the music in this game doesn't slap a big ol' smile on my face.
@@DrJose2014 You're not completely wrong, I do have a short attention span lol. I have tried playing Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne before. I have over 30 hours in both games, and I got pretty good progress in Bloodborne because I love the vibes. But yeah, I'm not saying I don't like these games for no reason. I have tried them, it's really just not my thing. That's all.
@@WolfGamez Yeah what he is saying is that because it's a rehearsal it doesn't necessarily mean they need to play bad. That's why it's a rehearsal, they TEST the song
Que pieza de arte maravillosa. Es muy difícil encontrar un videojuego cuyas características principales rocen todas la perfección. La música y el arte de Cuphead son en verdad, increibles. Se nota que lo hicieron con mucha pasión. Chapeau!!!
We need more game studios to do this. It’s always interesting to see how the studio is set up to record the instruments. Well, for me at least. I’m an audio engineer and musician after all. 😅
I feel Cuphead is one of those games that is difficult to create AU's with as there isn't a large amount of World building or story to get immersed in. If there was an AU based on this, it would have to be immensely creative. That immediately rules out most people
Fun fact, i got to play in the official recording studio at Disneyland in Cali when I went with my orchestra. The headphones they're wearing are playing a constant metronome so the musicians dont lose count or fumble the tempo :)
@@plush-voltage8178 Floral Fury is the theme everyone thinks of when they think of Cuphead (well behind King Dice and the main theme, but neither work as battle themes).
You'd think a flower going on a rampage and thrashing your butt around would be the least of our worries. Then again, there's a race of carnivorous plant people that likes to stab things in existence, soo.... we're all kinda screwed.
I just finished cuphead and it’s an amazing game. I also love this song and the english subtitles are so funny! Great job studio MDHR. Thank you for cuphead. Everyone did an amazing job
Hey I just wanna say thank you so much for making my favorite game with the best sound track I could listen to this for hours and just vibe to it so I wanna say THANK YOU!
Congratulations on getting Cuphead in Smash as a Mii Costume along with this song, personally if I had to choose one song I would’ve chose Aviary Action.
Don't know if you still want to see a documentary of this since this comment is a year old but here's a good one I found: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BFsu9_nRwjY.html
I LOVE CUPHEAD! Being a drummer and having been in jazz ensembles in college it's the soundtrack that makes this game for me. Thank you guys for all the love and care you put into this game. It really shows.
This is probably the most complicated video game in a few decades. Not only was there tons of references and Easter eggs, but the game has classic music, and was drawn by hand. Literally took 7 whole years to make
Dang, those guys are true professionals. The range at which they can play at is astonishing, not to mention the insane tempo that they not only play at, but excell at. I hope to be at that level one day.
I'm proud of these people making such beautiful music They've accomplished so much and it shows how much they are talented Plus notice how many of them are in their old ages
I honestly absolutely fucking love when old people help to do something for a game or something, like my god, they’ve left one of the best marks on the world because they’ve found a way to connect with us. It’ll be sad to see them go one day 😔
when jazz was at its peak decades ago they were still young and enthusiastic musicians i believe, sometimes i wish i was born in that age to experience the eruption of jazz
Cuphead as a costume for Mii Gunner is the closest thing to being a DLC character. To be fair, all he does is just jump and shoot so Sakurai made the right choice of turning Cuphead into a costume.
KeYo the problem with that idea is that there’s about 11 main games about mega man, with 8 robot masters in them. That’s about 88 moves that could be referenced on included.
Jonathan Carson - GoodDemon8 what you are saying makes no sense still, I bet you have played the game though so you would understand that mega man and cuphead are basically the same you see how they managed to fit mega mans powers in it won’t be that hard to fit cupheads
