What sucks it the for about 80% of the time when it comes to the night stages is that you can’t really even enjoy the music unlike the day stages because of the Battle theme always going off
@@krisjolt well, you can still enjoy the music it's not like the entire stage is just a fight, yes you have to fight enimes many times but there is always a space for exploration or anything enough for you to enjoy the music.. you guys just don't remember quite right
@@Omega-jg4oq the main reason there's music in video games is so that the game wouldn't feel so silent. The music is there to accompany you while playing. Most people wouldn't stay idle in game to listen to the music. They're trying to play the game, not listening to music and only music
@@krisjolt That argument is so Stupid not gonna lie, when did I ever said that you have to stop playing just to enjoy the music, All I'm saying that the entire stage is not just a big fight.. there is music for the battle and for the level while going solving puzzles and etc, MY DUDE I've been playing this since I was 10 years old.. you're just totally lost and I haven't seen people complain about it like it's big issue

I’m so glad this games soundtrack is amazing to other people too. This was one of my favorite games as a kid, and I would still play it to this day. Hoping for Sonic Unleashed Ultimate!
@@Hugo-yz1vb yes. Or making a more hyperactive or action-like sounding of the soundtrack of the stage you're playing. It would also be cool that depending on what place you are, the enemies have different features according to the place they are in, like in Holoska, Nightmares that can breath ice. Or in Chun Nan, some nightmares that have Chinese armour.

I clicked on this video thinking it would be a short documentary on the music of unleashed, i was delighted to have been taken on a nostalgia road trip with funny memes put into it, I love sonic unleashed and it will stand as my all time favourite sonic game
That bit on the Tornado Defense track cracked me up. I’m a Wii player. Sure, there’s no playable hub worlds, Tornado Defense, Mazuri (outside of Egg Beetle), and Empire City… but at least it has a playable Gaia Gate (and the Night Stages are split into separate acts so you’re not doing one massive stage all at once… especially Eggmanland). (Also thank god the medals are earned with ranks instead of checking every nook cranny for them in the levels) Unleashed Wii (and PS2) Gang, where you at? 👀
I grew up with the Wii version. And let me tell you, the final battle against Dark Gaia... When the theme kicked in... words cannot describe the sheer euphoria and determination I felt. I love the Wii version, flaws and all.
PS2 player here I bought it on PS3 and cant believe it has more content than the ps2 version (it was harder too) it was a new experience but i still prefer the ps2/wii version
PS2 here, the werehog was painful in this version, no wonder a lot of people hated him, it's the embodiment of button mashing. The day stages are awesome though, probably had the most aggressive boost of any Sonic game
I always loved unleashed so bad, especially the music, and seeing someone else who shares the same feelings is amazing! This gave me such nostalgia from playing the game and getting all the achievements, I hope someday it gets a port on pc so my Xbox 360 can be spared the extreme strain it suffers every time I want to play it lol

I've got a possible answer : amatonormativity is overrated and you don't need to be in a romantic relationship to be happy (/and in fact some people will be the opposite of happy in any relationship). Anyway I personally believe Sonic is aroace, make of that what you will.
@@corruptedteka Also Sonic was meant to be the antithesis to Mario. He doesn't go around saving princesses every other day. Except that one time he did just that for a whole game. Also we're still in the Meta Era, where Sega refuses to take the franchise even a little bit seriously. Can't expect them to handle a relationship when they can't even right a semi-good story.
Sonic just wouldn't feel the same if he were in a relationship, it's like if his whole character just vanishes by having a girlfriend. Just think about it, Sonic's personality is about to be free, like the wind, he lives at his own way. I don't think Sonic is meant for a relationship, even if it's a common thing it just wouldn't fit.
I need to play this game again. For one of the first boost formula games I ever played. Nothing can ever give me the same challenge and nostalgia Sonic Unleashed gave me
Kinda disappointed you didnt bring up dear my friend, unleashed is the first game i played, and it took my months to finish it, and with me being very invested in it, i think i cried after listening to this during the credits, and have a strong urge to cry listening to this song on every subsequent playthrough

For me, Sonic Unleashed is also one of my favorite and best games, with its problems, of course, but not so much that I don't love it. Especially for the music. If I'm honest, Sonic unleashed was the last time I was able to enjoy super sonic, what a pity the sonic team no longer knows how to use to the character 😔
Sonic Unleashed is one of my favorite games of all time, since i saw the demo on the xbox 360 i wanted a ps3/360 so bad just to play unleashed, and the day i was playing it was so amazing! ( even tho for the first time i played the wii version, its cool but... i mean the next gen version is superior in every aspect lol ) I really hope Sega make a remastered of this game and port it everywhere, this is an underrated gem that everyone needs to play. By the way, i loved this video! (Edit: sorry for my "kinda" bad english lol)

Thank you so much. This video motivated me to finally finish Sonic Unleashed. I had the game since I was a kid, & yet I never really played it & got past the 1st boss. (Probably because I was scared shitless from the Werehog transformation scene). I have now completely finished it & enjoy every second of it (except Eggman Land Day). The one unfortunate thing was I only had the Wii version, & you can imagine how I felt, after finding out the hard way, that two of my favorite tracks: Savannah Citadel Day & Skyscraper Scamper Day, were not in the bloody game. Oh well, at least I have my Rooftop Run Night. Sonic Unleashed is now competing with Sonic Colors for my favorite Sonic game, & I am so glad I finally got to fully experience it.
Sonic unleashed is the only sonic game that just listening to its soundtracks makes me cry with all its beautiful scenes, what can I say? the whole game is beautiful

Sadly and unfortunately didnt play the game when i was younger but i loved watching the show literally everyday i would come from school and put the show i was (4years old) now i am 18.....i feel I've grown old
