I’ve seen The Music live... twice. The last gig was hands down one of the best I have seen & I’ve seen a lot of gigs.Every song is etched into my brain forever. The infectious energy, the power of Rob’s voice (& his moves), the brilliance of the band, the passion, the riffs, the beat. Blows my mind every time.
Great band. They were unique and amazing. They deserved much more of everything. The Music is a song, it's a trance, it's a celebration. This incantatory pop, pulsing with infectious rhythm, would lead the audience into a dance that only they know where to go.
Phone on random. Getaway came on. Made the hairs stand up on my neck. Forgot how awesome this band are. Hadn't heard the song for over 10 years. Love it
They're back for a show! Adam - Lead Guitar has a RU-vid channel with current content: ru-vid.com/show-UCJxP67ZEyDj0_Fqar-BQxPAvideos www.musicandmorepodcast.com/ twitter.com/nutter_adam www.stereoboard.com/the-music-tickets/leeds
Actually prefer the dance being a little slower here and temple newsam , than they did it in the earlier days , more powerful , the drums more focused and flow a little better

@Sharks Saw a lot of gigs around then but kept just missing them, Think I even walked past them at the New bands tent at Reading before knowing who they were. Finally caught them on the farewell tour in Bristol in '11 (I think). It was an amazing night, everyone ended up dancing in a car park after the gig kicked out lol.
@Sharks We were gutted when we found out it was them! I think we were watching Prodigy instead that night iirc? That first album quickly became one of my favourite alongside Highly Evolved by the Vines. 2002 was a great year for new music!
@Sharks I was there for the Vines too! We probably brushed shoulders at some point lol. Been a lifelong BRMC fan, saw them support Oasis at Finsbury Park that year as well. Can't believe it was 20 years ago, seems like 10. Great times indeed
