Thanks! Just something we played with on the spot. Just that one take, mistakes and all.

Apart from Dave's humor, the music was the element I looked forward to most watching Dave during the NBC days. Thank you for all your hard work - the reason I continue to subscribe to your channel.

Wow. The astonishing Giller. At least one thing is clear, music just hasn't been the same since 1989. May 19, 1989 anyway.

@Don Giller Thanks for all your uploads, I was wondering if you had the clip of the show where Dave had on all the doctors from his heart surgery on the show to thank them. I only know of the clip because I believe Norm Macdonald alluded to it in one of his appearances. Much thanks🙏

February 21, 2000 (taped the previous Friday, February 18). I hadn’t uploaded it because so many had before me, and I’m currently unable to upload any additional Dave-owned or -licensed content. And thanks!

Good job Don! Would have the performer list for the Late Night show as well?

Is Johnny Graham on this list?
@dongiller
@dongiller Год назад
Johnny Graham was Late Night, and it was a comedy piece with incidental performance, so no.

Can't wait for the sequel, of commercial break songs! Might take 14 additional years of work, atop the 4 or 6 you must have spent on this masterpiece though!!

Just FYI, missing the "e' in the spelling on 125 Daltrey. Disappointed not to see him after 1998. It felt like he was more recent. Speaking of commercial breaks, I seem to recall him performing, and when they went back to air as he was wrapping a song (maybe Won't Get Fooled Again), he didn't want to stop. He really seemed to not want to [edit: sit down], having the most fun of his life, giving a free intimate little show to those incredibly unfortunate enough to see him do Who songs that day-night.

Thanks re the typo. Dammit. The “Won’t Get Fooled Again” is here, nearly full but for the fade into the commercial - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--YV6GWDhrjE.html

@@dongiller Yeah, I just rewatched it before you even answered. My memory feels vivid, whichever show it was, of him going something like "Do we have to stop?? Awww?? Can't we keep playing?!" But if it did happen it apparently wasn't that 1994 show or the 1998 one. Thanks for your attention to the details, your great attention.
@dongiller
@dongiller Год назад
Not that great attention - I screwed up his last name and didn’t catch it.

@@dongiller Don, your unrelenting attention to detail, and your conscientiousness thereof, are great strengths, and set you apart from those who just do enough to get by and even look for free lunches from society. Moreover, much of your work is immortalized. And beloved - very much of it. How many can say that of themselves? And your music is now immortalized too, as you have attracted followers that will enjoy it. And for years, maybe many. Few can say that as well. So don't beat yourself up too much for one that got by you :)
