I had a heads up display in my 06 eclipse gt and every single person that saw it complimented it or asked about it. Definitely looked amazing with a clean install
Careful with those OBD-2 heads up displays, customer came in to our shop once with a brand new car and his car had one installed, drained the battery twice, first one we replaced under warranty since it's a new car. He came in again with the same concern, charged him for a diagnosis and turns out that OBD-2 HUD was draining his battery even tho the product claimed it wouldn't. He spent over $400 that day.
Excellent point! I've heard other mechanics say to never leave one of these (especially cheap Chinese devices) plugged in for longer than 5 minutes. Maybe a reputable brand will offer something like this, bc it definitely looks nice.

Just make sure in your area that they are no illegal before purchasing one. They are illegal in may countries and won't be worth it to get if an officer sees you have one
I want something that records my car from the sky everywhere i go..and when i get out of the car in swagger mode, it zooms in and takes a panaromic angle video of me and my car continuously until it slowly zooms in my face and uploads the whole thing on my laptop automatically.
It’s definitely not convenient for anybody but stoners especially since if you get pulled over with a minty car your guaranteed to get searched and the vapor would make surfaces sticky
Radar detectors aren't that useful in a lot of states because most cops don't use radar. They use point to point timing or other methods. Most highway or state cops will use them though.
We have that type on the box trucks where I work, they're super awesome. The trucks come with a rear view mirror that just looks at the box behind the cab, so useless and lame!
@@ssgrgohan8254 when you order, it's usually paired with two cords. the power cord and the camera feed cord. each about 10-13 feet. you have to run both cords along the plastic and fabric molds on the inside of the car so they don't look cheap and exposed. it's not a lot of cord, they just run a little long in length so that there is enough of it to hide on the inside of your car. it isn't a hard job and the end product is worth it. it's just a little time consuming. it is not a 5 minute or even 10 minute job but you save yourself a court battle if someone hits you because the camera is always recording front and back. you can also turn the digital screen off to use the actual mirror and it'll continue to record. don't worry about the install process. once your done with it, you will never look back.
Radar detectors are illegal in 10 out of the 50 states. Flashing strobe lights are illegal on the outside of a car in every state extremely discouraged in the inside of the car because it can distract drivers and causes an unsafe driving environment. With 40,000 views on this video and almost 400,000 subscribers its your responsibility as a RU-vid channel tell your viewers when something your advertising might be illegal in their state or could possibly get them pulled over. All this being said it was still a very cool video and I enjoy your content. You're an excellent Channel and I hope you keep up the good work. Just please include all the information with products that could cause problems for drivers.

Got that same dash cam/mirror and it's not bad. Had it almost a month and I'm not sure if i want to use it as a full mirror replacement, the issue i had was the resolution of the screen which is really good for seeing people and objects with the wide angle cam but it's almost impossible to identify anything at a quick glance. If there is a cop car 200-300 feet behind you, you won't notice it until gets closer or turns on the sirens, making any bank robbery much harder.
They need to invent something that can detect undercover cars/interceptors, especially in the highway I've seen Nissan's, chargers, honda civics, all types of undercovers coming out of nowhere just tailgating ppl til they pull over
You know the coffee maker sounds great until you leave your dirty mug in your car all day to cook in the sun...so then at night you have to bring it in and clean it and get it ready for tomorrow...at that point just make a stupid cup of coffee and bring it on your ride you're just trading time for time. Sounds convenient but nope.... I love the heads up display though... love the video....thx
But if that fridge goes into the lighter in the car doesnt it turn of when you turn of the carand if it doesnt it takes a lot of your car battery right?
I invented Handpresso (under a different name) six years ago, but it never got marketed because I couldn’t get anyone to pick it up due to legal nightmares of making boiling water while driving. I will have to look into this to see if my idea was actually stolen.
Except all the heads-up displays i've seen either have severe double image ghosting OR they have a film sticker you must attach to your windshield which looks bad from inside and looks terrible from outside the car.
