Ryan Frickey, Hmmm...You are onto something. I wonder if these characters will tie into time travel and the future moving forward...Maybe some form of expansion of the future familial ties similar to how we got Cable the son of Jean Grey and Scott Summers. So maybe we get a version of Kitty Pryde and Colossus's daughter? Nightcrawler's son? I don't know...I'm just brainstorming on the possibilities of this series next issues. As you know the future of the X families were never further elaborated upon like Cable was. Maybe Hickman is bridging that gap? Exciting to collect again.

Powers of 10. Each "scene" takes place within the next of power of 10s. Year x(10) to zero power is 10×0=xmen year zero X to the first power is year 10 X to the second power is year 100 X to the third power is year 1000 Sooo... Powers of 10 is the time period settings

Wild theory: In the future 1000 years, The blue guy is a transcendant Xavier (he's wearing that Cerebro helmet also) and the floating AI neXt to him is "Nimrod" is actually Moira (Moira became a Bastion/Nimrod) and thus betrayed them. Now they have both evolved and reconciled. The story starts seemingly with Charles & Moira and seemingly will end with them Your Thoughts?. Also reference cover of POX#6 whose cover has been released. It's that "villain standing over fallen heroes" trope. And it's seemingly Moira standing over them, wearing clothes oddly resembling that of Bastion/Nimrod.

I’m pretty sure the Rasputin girl has Colossus’s powers of turning to metal, not his brother’s because she is said to be able to turn to metal in the beginning by the fortune teller and turns metal to deflect a few sentinel bullets.

This story seems like a big jump for the writers, I feel that writing so far into the future can set them up for some interesting stories but I can see retcons popping up over the next few years if stories like these don't give enough leeway for new stories over the next few years. Also thanks for including previous videos in the description! Super helpful for others to catch up

Hickman already said on Twitter that "When you play in the sandbox you should put it all back as you found it". I think he already has a plan for how this will all tie together for the future to allow for more stories.

Just like every previous "apocalyptic future" X-Men story, the present day X-Men will either interact with the future mutants in some way or at least learn about something they need to do in current day to change the future. As soon as that happens, alternate timeline is created and everything we saw in the future becomes uncertain/irrelevant. This has happened: Days of future past Rachel Grey's timeline Cable's timeline Bishop's timeline Madrox/Layla Miller/Ruby timeline Grant Morrison's future timeline And a ton of other times I am forgetting :p

Xavier used telekinesis to take the flash drive from Mystique. Which I don't think he has had other than when Onslaught had taken over. I'm thinking that's not Xavier at all and that it's Sinister who does have telepathy and telekinesis which he is augmenting with that helmet. In House of X #1 Xavier seems to be cloning mutants which of course Sinister does daily for shits and giggles.

I think Rasputin's "Rasputin portion" is colossus. The power contribution added by the Rasputin gene is "METAM...". Magik's actual mutant power is of teleportation, while Mikhail's is Energy Manipulation? I assume Hickman is purposefully leaving this ambiguous but that portion of the mutant power descript in addition to the fact she seems to have a metallic body to me makes it seem like it is most likely Peter.

Hickman’s already told us multiple times that the titles are meant to be House of X and Powers of 10... the 10 clearly referring to the factors of his new timeline. Also Rasputin IV isn’t based on Mikhail Rasputin. She’s got parts of Quetin Quire’s telepathy or telekinesis, Kitty Pryde’s intangibility, Colossus’s metametal form (or possibly Illyana’s metamagic...), and Laura Kinney’s healing factor. The fifth part of of her chimaera make up is listed as Bain FOFLD... which is likely a reference to Unusciones real name (he changed it) and his forcefield powers. No ideas yet how she got Illyana’s soulsword.

Hey Rob, I’m not sure if you caught this during your first read through... but did Charles telekinetically bring the flash drive from Mystique’s hands to his? As I recall, TK is NOT traditionally apart of Charles Xavier’s powerset. He’s just a telepath. Continuity error made carelessly or is Hickman up to something??? Why focus on it so much in that particular panel? That action wasn’t crucial to the plot. Makes it feel like a bit of a Chekhov’s gun.

The green magneto guy from the future looks like an old Pietro/Quicksilver. The green resembles his old green and white costume, plus you can see a little bit of white in his goatee that reminds me of his white hair. Total speculation. love the show Rob. keep up the good work.

I fucking loved this issue. I love the sorta Terminator future war setting. I love all the characters and their designs. I love the heavy scifi feel. Even if this wasn't an X-Men book I would still be into it. I know that doesn't make total sense since it's so heavily tied to X-men, I'm just saying this stands as an enjoyable book on it's own. I initially thought I'd just get through it so the whole series would make sense but I was surprised at how much I liked it.

I was already hyped, but when I saw Nimrod and Mr. Sinister I got Rob “MAN LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!” hyped! I kinda fell out of buying and reading comics back around the Onslaught Saga(tho I’ve kept up to date watching this channel and channels like Benny’s and Sal’s) but this has brought me back(well, the stuff with Old Man Logan was the start, but THIS is what made my mind up that I was back 100%). Thank you Rob for keeping me interested in comics all these years, and for being as big a fan of the X-Men as you are(the X-Men have always been my favorite, having gotten me into comics in the first place)!

Rasputin IV explained: The mutants lose the ability to procreate, so sinister started making mutants. Rasputin is a gen 3 artificial mutant. ALL OF THIS is correct. And we know now from the book and about the level of "Quire's" telepathy being a 10 for creating Rasputin IV, that the book's title (Powers of Ten) relates to Omega-level mutants (Krakoa's most prized resource) and perhaps Sinister's search to propagate Chimera Mutants that could wield multiple Omega-level X-genes (like his failed attempt with the 4th generation Chimeras that ended up killing most of the mutants, Krakoa, and then eventually themselves and Sinister's base on Mars). This shit is trippy! LOL

John Smith that’s a good point about the powers of 10, I thought of it as a quantity but you’re right it makes sense that it’s referring to omega power level being a lvl 10 on a 1-10 scale

DJ May Thanks! I definitely agree with everything you said in the OP. I still feel like there are clues we all are missing. The biggest being the "file names" for each of the data pages. They seem pretty straightforward but some are weird, like one in this issue talking about the Ascension with a file name of "APOC" something, like Apocalypse. It makes the issues more fun to speculate.
