I like this. I produced longer multi tapered bottoming cones back in the early 90s. The old bottoming cones were short, like just over an inch, I recall talking on the phone with a very famous suspension guy. He said these short bottoming cones were "fine". 6 months later he ripped off my 3" long cones, full page ad in a particular MX magazine. No doubt given him by a well known editor of said magazine sent to him for testing. Your design is superior.

That must have been very frustrating to experience. Sorry to hear about that. Original ideas are rare to come by and often ripped off by imposters.

This thing seems pretty awesome. Glad to see this video. There is not much info on MXT's website about it.

Currently the MXT LFPR is only available for 50mm WP, KYB, Showa shocks and 40mm KYB shocks. Your PDS shock already has this style of piston ring. Your forks are know for heavy stiction/friction. I recommend SKF seals to help the problem and new bushings.

Yeah, my shock is fine. I have a 2006 shock. The bushings seemed in great shape on my forks. I have new Synergy fork seals, but the stiction is bad. Not sure what part causes it most. I am going to try SKF next time I rebuild.

Yeah there really is not a lot of information about the Huck Valve and MX Tech's products in general out on the web. We have been using their products for the past couple years with great success. MX Tech really breaks the model when it comes to innovating. Thanks for watching!

They do have great, innovative products. Do you/MXT have any low friction bushings and piston bands for WP 43mm forks? (2000-2002 KTMs) I know MXT has the LFPR shock pistons, but my forks have bad stiction (common with 43s).

So does this replace the base valve?

Ah, yes, that is what I was thinking. Would you only need one of these on a SFF fork?
