It's time, I have been putting this off. It is now time for us to delve into the mysterious fate of Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Aside from Mozart himself, no one's demise has been more mysterious in the world of classical music than Tchaikovsky's. Thank you so much for this documentation. I am a music scholar and classical pianist and I have a nagging feeling that Tchaikovsky’s death should not have happened as it did and when it did. It was so abrupt and unnatural. Very sad.

Thanks for the work put into this documentary I was listening to npr tonight and they mentioned it after playing the sixth it really is heart breaking to think he had to suppress his true feelings and still create the great music of his time for me of all time and and how much more he could have with the time he had left and also to think of all the ones sent off to camps during the Soviet era so much has ben lost and for what
