Caleb could not be wholehearted in his own strength but only through the power of the Holy Spirit which he received by grace through faith, empowering him to be wholehearted. Though being wholehearted for God may have been Caleb’s intent he could only achieve this with the Lords help, the Holy Spirit. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak! Without God, we can do nothing! Remember the Scriptures say Caleb had a « different spirit within him. » God does not reward us based off of our good works or good deeds, therefore NO ONE CAN BOAST! Caleb was not perfect!!!He rewards us based off of our faith! Without faith, no one can please God. Abraham was credited righteousness because of his faith and not good deeds or the works of the law. With the Lord helping him through the power of the Holy Spirit, Caleb was able to obediently follow the Lord, totally, depending on the power of the Holy Spirit! Faithful to His promise and rewarding Caleb’s faith, loyalty and trust in Him, at the right time God faithfully fulfilled his promise! Caleb’s story is a beautiful depiction of the rich inheritance we have in the Lord through faith in Christ! Hallelujah! We are the righteousness of God in Christ, and with the Holy Spirit helping us more and more we are able to live wholehearted for God through abundant faith in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit! God rewards us with an abundant life by his grace through faith in the Lord and leads us into his many wonderful promises by His Holy Spirit as we continue to trust in Him and depend on His power and grace more and more everyday! God has revealed these truths in my life in relation to my namesake and I praise Him for this beautiful revelation! Great is Gods Faithfullness! Our God is a GOOD GOD!!! Amen.

Not ‘Dog’ literally but the characteristics of a dog. Loyal, Bold and Whole-Hearted

Dog in hebrew roughly translated to "like a heart", very similar to the explanation of the compound word meaning whole hearted so it's kind of semantics at that point. Dog is what they called the people of god when they were slaves in egypt but Dog is God backwards in our language and look at the position of power dogs hold in our society today. No matter how you crack it Caleb is a beast.

the name originated with a ‘C’ … & to say “Kaleb” is the more accurate way to spell it is just dumb fool. it doesn’t matter how you spell it. “Caleb” with a C is used in the bible, not “Kaleb.”
