hard to believe i was already playing the game when he was around... when cookiezi was still banned... when hvick was in his prime... time flies, it seems again
@@THEHOLYDEMON351 I started playing some months before Cookiezi did the ban stunt, It was insane spectating him live and the chat was so fast bancho was struggling XD Time does go fast when you really think about it.
@@doncho611 watch 3:46 in 25% he literally missed the forth note, even if he somehow hit that edge,he would still be noteblocked after that one since he went a bit fast and miss the last one, odd, als this 1:55 like if he was a mouse player i can understand but why would be spin like that and even in a line with a tablet?cant he just close his wrist and spin normally?
feel like he played way more offline than anyone realizes. maybe 1000s of hours. its not like he suddenly developed skills out of nowhere, he has good very old plays like savage garden hd fc in very early 2010s, the math checks out for him being one of the best players, but just choosing to play offline.
Love these videos! as someone whos relatively new to the osu community, its really nice to get a background to these players who i've heard of, but never really known about!
I remember the moment he participated in OKT#2. He overwhelmed MathClass (now known as [chiyo]), who I thought one of the best tournament player at the time. It was unforgettable that he got the SS from 0108's Mistake at OKT.
His aim is so unusually elegant. Not super shaky, not delayed, it sure does add to the kind of anomaly Bikko is. If online forums didn't exist, he would honestly sound a bit like an urban legend! Though all things considered, even with those online forums, he already is to some degree.
Great video! Bikko is such a strange case when I comes to legitimacy, but I’ve got to wonder why the disappearance. I always kind of hoped he’d return to osu!, but I guess he’s moved on. Also I wanted to mention that your videos have been great. Your minute legends are short, too the point, and entertaining. And your longer form videos have been great as well. Keep up the great work!
Easily the greatest accuracy player this game ever has and ever will see. He was my inspiration to become an HR player as well as caring about my accuracy. Can only hope he'll come back one day and set scores that would be years ahead of their time once more.
I remember someone called Bikko "The Human Metronome" for his SS in Helix. His HDHR plays are just beyond perfection. Bikko also the reason I started learning HDHR.
just like the old top players there was something special about that, not gonna lie. it captivated everyone, top players didnt really interact with the community and knowing anything about them felt super special, i miss those times
@@takaga2236 It's because current top players mainly do it for attention or are OG's (been around the scene for few years). They can get to top of leaderboards due to so many farm maps.
so funny, that reddit post was mine from years ago and i randomly stumble across this video even though i havent played osu in like 2 years. cool vid :)
A good friend of mine (a fan of bikko), who can be trusted, communicated with bikko a year ago on a private server, bikko said that he does not want to play OSU, as he does not like new maps. So I think we'll never see him again :(
i wish shige and bikko would've gone at a #1 battle during their peaks. korea vs korea, hdhr vs hdhr, god vs god. i reckon it would've shaken the osu universe
Hahaha yeah. He was mysterious on the sk community too. But in my opinion, he was just a hentai. Big hentai acc player. OKT#2 was amazing for him. I knew that was streaming on the sk platform so I watched and it was surprising. Dragonhuman vs Bikko, which was semi-final? I dont know but maybe yes. 0108s mistake map was a none map at that moment. Dragonhuman got 1 100 on that map. But bikko got SS perfectly so commentators, viewers everyone was scared about that. But that was not only one SS on that day in my memory. He swept, just showing his own performance vs dragonhuman. And I know somthing about his outside action(which was meeting or playing outside etc) in sk community. He was just a old, gentle(?), and humorous man, getting long hair. And he was so big fan of intuos pro. Thats it.
I like to think it's legit it'd be sick if someone can be god like in games and they just pop in every once in awhile, using a technique that only they know in the community, I'm sure the technique could be found out by someone else, it just hasn't yet bc the person who could explain it doesn't play
Can we talk about how he not only got the first HDHR FC on Silent Voyage to Eternity, but still has the highest accuracy on the map, beating other modded and even nomod plays in that aspect? What an amazing player.
Completely agreed, I can't believe we were too dumb to not think of that. Guy is probably playing offline some insanely technique required maps with HDHR to set scores that mimic a metronome.
Yeah but back in the day the game and replays were alot more weird, even looking at my own 2013 and 14 Play they seem not quiet right althoe I know I played em and they were not really good to begin with
russian message could easily be explained by the russia north korea land border where vladivostok is, there's many korean/russian families living there who speak both languages fluently
