Was caught off guard by this, but RT doing some exploration into cryptids and the paranormal would be quite epic, especially starting with my states most famous monster. 9/10 pronounce Appalachia correctly

My dad's side of the family comes from West Virginia, so I grew up hearing the mystery of Mothman A LOT! Watched the movie, Mothman Prophecies, watched the episode of Unsolved Mysteries on it, watched the episode of Paranormal State on it, even visited the official museum and statue that are in Point Pleasant! This is actually the ONE Cryptid I genuinely believe in!

It was a giant owl. Man in black where safety personnel. Interference might have been from material used. Noise outside could have been rodents and other wildlife came around to eat.

Mothman was a Stygian Owl, maybe a slightly larger one than normal (from what I can tell they’re pretty large in general) Regarding the other happenings and the men in black, I believe that there may have been a minor government experiment that involved paranoia/ minor hallucinations (perhaps a chemical leak or sound frequency that can’t be heard by people; it would make sense for the government to send people out to see how everyone is holding up)
