Had watched a few of the sessions over the years of the Naghash Ensemble, as I am a huge fan of Arpi Alto(Arpine Ter-Petrosyan), this is the most recent one I've seen, thus far. But was the first one I had heard the story behind what Naghash Ensemble meant and that it was from an ancient medieval priest, by the name of Naghash and written around his poem. This sound brings to life the medieval period so vividly, a period of music I really like to listen to and its stories. This was both.
