Thank you so much! Now everything is almost back to normal at the Dubai lounges, too... Have a look at my other, all-English channel! All new reports sind last year are there, including the First Class Lounge in Dubai (with an 800$ wine - open just like that). www.RU-vid.com/c/TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition Hope to see you there! Welcome to the team! 😊
@@TravelSingFly Hello. Thank you for comprehensive review of the Business class lounges. I have a question. If i purchase entry into Business / First class lounge. How long will i be to stay inside the lounge? Emirates website states "up to 4 hours prior to departure". But will they really track your time inside the lounge? I think not. Could you kidly share your experience? Many thanks .
Thank you so much! It's actually the biggest and most complete of its kind on youtube. I am very happy you enjoyed watching it. Please know that all new English content can be found on my new all-English channel: ru-vid.com Cheers from Germany!
Thank you very much for your tremendous tour and review of all the Emirates business class lounges at Dubai Airport. Nobody else has done a video like yours, I didn't know that Emirates Airlines has 3 different business class lounges in the same airport! Well done!!!👍👍👍
Thank you very much. I put a lot of time and effort into this report. Happy about this great appreciation. I hope you'll find more intruding content on my other, all-English channel @TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition There you'll find a comprehensive review of their first class lounge as well very detailed and compete reviews of enlisted first class on the Airbus A380 - plus the same for Qatar Airways. And many more interesting and entertaining reports. Would be great to welcome you as a subscriber there!
Came over from Vicarious Voyager's channel when I saw you comment. Really enjoyed this video - thanks so much for sharing this with us! Liked and subscribed!
That's wonderful to hear Bryan! I like vicarious very much too it's quality information and nice humor. Thank you for subscribing! It's very encouraging! I promise to keep up with my goal to make the best possible reports.
Thank you so much, Dale! I'm super happy to read that! These things make me forget all the work on this video and the (many) moments that I thought it would never end...... Ha!
Oh thank you so much! So happy to read that! It was long work on it but I feel it paid off. Happy to see the result. Please spread the word. Would be wonderful to have a few more subscribers to my channel. Trying to make the best possible film on each topic, with the best possible info and tips I can give within my possibilities. Thanks so much, and thank you for staying tuned! Chris 😊
@@TravelSingFly you cannot say too late as we still don't know how these mutations take place.. Not even how the different strains travel..it is not (only) planes that transmit.. Children are supposedly very often spreaders as they have no symptoms.. In UK and Netherlands (and Indonesia great parts) schools are open.. Lock Up the kids? Nor is there proof of the accuracy of the tests.. Instead of going into panic mode we must stay calm.. And that is what governments should be saying.. Breathe normally and wash your hsnds
Thank you so much! Just spread the word and share my video, if you would like. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed it. I think it's the only video on youtube that really shows all the lounges and what each one of them is like and what makes them special - informative while being a bit entertaining too. Thank you so much for your support through your words! Chris
Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback! Happy to hear that! In case you're planning a trip with Emirates: Please be aware that at the moment the Champagne Lounge is reserved for First Class and Skywards Platinum members only - because the actually First Class Lounge is temporarily closed due to the Covid crisis. However, it will be part of the Business Lounge again later!
Oh wow Chris ! Such an extensive review done in such a professional and informative way. I like the way you show so much respect to everything. Brought back so many fine [and tiring ! ] memories for me, but I am very fond of Dubai and Emirates and the facilities they offer. Thank you so much for all your hard work to produce such a fine video. Excellent work ! I want to book my Emirates flight even more now.
Thank you so much, John! That's so wonderful to read! Please spread the word! I would hope to reach at least 1000 subscribers - which is nothing compared to some other channels, but would make a difference. Some things would get easier, including visibility. But I'm so grateful for every single subscriber and even more for wonderful fans like you!
Travel Sing Fly Welcome Chris, you really do deserve to be a hugely successful channel. Please keep working at it, success is just around the corner. Your videos are quality.
@@johnhorton5022 Next video will be a very short information video in German for my (very few) German viewers, regarding collection of miles. But I'm at the same time starting my next video. Will probably be Emirates First. But there's also Iberia and Eurowings in the tube. And still my report on ALL beaches of Phuket Island
Great and informative video! Just a quick question though... Do we have access to all of the lounges all at once? Or are certain passengers designated to certain lounges that have separating parameter barriers in between them?
Hi Timur! Thank you so much for reaching out! As long as you're an Emirates business class passenger or an Emirates status holder (Silver/ Gold/ Platinum), you have access to all Emirates business lounges on the day of your flight. You can also switch between the lounges. 😊
Brilliant vlog. There are so many around that don’t do the trip justice. We are travelling from STB to BKK, Business Class, and this is the best review possible. It would be great if you could give the times available, as we only have 2 hr 45 minutes in Dubai.
Thank you very much! Actually I think it says 3 or 4 hours. But if you're on a connecting flight, you can just go there even if it's 10 hours between your flights! I shoot the material for this video on several visit - but my longest one was for 14 hours.
Thank you! This video took 6 weeks work. All the little details and making it a story etc etc...... But I hope people will be happy about it and appreciate the extra work.....
@@campari4467 Not that I would know of... But if I get an invitation by one of the opera houses, I'll go. Sometimes that happens faster than one would think
Yes, I know - and now I think I should have written that..... Would have been so easy - just another subtitle between so many..... Just didn't think about it (probably because I would never pay that)..... Well...... But thank you for reminding - I will put it in the description
@@TravelSingFly I knew but forgot..I think if you have a long lay over it would be really worth it..especially if they have nice beds ! So a good reminder..and we count on you following up haha !
Yes, the reason it is always quit full is that Emirates is nice enough to give all of us access, starting from Emirates Silver, which only takes 3 flights a year to achieve. It is a nice perk to have and a main reason to keep flying Emirates even when others have cheaper/better connections for some locations.
I totally agree. That's actually the last advantage that's left from the once pretty fair Skywards program... Very unfortunate that in all other aspects, the program has become a real rip-off program, and that towards some of the most loyal customers in airline industry. It's very sad and a shame that they use that to exploit the maximum from their loyal customers, with a ridiculous award policy of the highest miles amounts plus the highest surcharges possible - and they play the card of having almost a monopoly in the region and on many routes... I used to have Gold status for quite a long time but I gave it up because of that. But I agree it's nice that silver members can access the regular business class lounges instead of a downsized lounge like Qatar does in Doha.
@TravelSingFly it's not only Emirates though. Used to be LH Senator and the benefit shrink with every program "update". The fact is that airline loyalty programs make more money by "minting" miles than through their actual airline business. They keep raising mileage requirements and keep making more and more through these programs. Just "paid" 280.000 miles to upgrade a trip from economy flex to business for 2 people 🙄
I could not agree more with you - I have had the luxury of travelling the world and have spent many dollars - I expect something “ really good” at the business lounge. We are on the same page. Bravo excellent review - continue!
Thank you very much! Please know that there's two channels that you can watch. This one has all English content until August 2021. All new English content can be found on my all-English channel TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition. www.RU-vid.com/c/TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition
Danke! Und danke fürs Warten! Die vielen Details haben die Arbeit wochenlang gemacht. Aber es hat sich gelohnt. Gerne weitersagen! Hoffe auf weitere Abonnenten... Wäre super. Viele Grüße!
Loved this guide thank you. We are travelling business with Qantas from London Heathrow in February 2023 we have Emirates tkts to Dubai then onto Perth with a two hour stop in Dubai. On the way back it’s 17 hrs Perth to Heathrow. Can you give any advice on what longes you would use at Heathrow,Dubai and Perth
Hi Phil! Thank you so much for your feedback! Do you know about my all-English channel? Since August 2021, all new English reports are released there: www.youtube/c/TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition I don't know the lounges at LHR nor at PER - however, if you have access to the Emirates Lounges there, then that's always a good experience. They always have good food and excellents wines & champagne for a business lounge. Usually they're the best at any airport, as long as it's a real Emirates Lounge. If you don't have access to the Emirates Business Lounge in Dubai, I recommend the Al Ahlan Lounges both in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Cheers from Dubai at this moment! Chris
I'm a platinum with QANTAS and so can get into the 1st class lounge but I no longer fly enough to maintain platinum which will expire in June 2024. However, I managed to make lifetime gold so from then on, it's the business lounges for me.
Actually the crazy rise in prices at Emirates and the strong devaluation of their Skywards redemption awards doesn't make it easier to decide for Emirates now... But lifetime Gold, that's actually a nice thing to have! 😊👍 Congratulations
Hi! Thanks for watching and writing! Do you have a business class ticket? In that case I'd take the lounge in concourse B for a tasty light smack at the Healthy Hub right at the beginning of the lounge, then head to the Moet&Chandon Champagne Bar in the end of the lounge and maybe some dinner there. Then head to the lounge at concourse A for a nap (much better there than in the B and C lounges) and another bite. If you're departure hatte is in concourse C, if take the last 90 minutes to get there (looooong walk) plus having a shower at the lounge in concourse C - that's the best shower.
The website says lounge access is 4 hours or something like that. Does that mean you can stay in there for 4 hours or only up till you have 4 hours left till your flight?
No, you can access the lounge 4 hours before your flight. The other way would make no sense. Most people are still at home 4 hours before the flight. By the way, even though that's not mentioned: if you're having a long connection between two business class flights, you'll be allowed to the lounge for more than 4 hours as they can't let you just wait in the public area until it's 4 hours before departure.
How many days? Normally you spend a few hours at the lounge. Depending on which airline you take and how your connection looks like, the lounge access policies vary. You can access at least three hours before departure. But if you're connecting, you can normally stay for the duration of your connecting time. However I heard of cases where they didn't show to stay half a day. All depending on the airline
@@Mr.Roblox.and.Mr.Minecraft Ahhhh... No, that you misunderstood. I say in the Betty beginning how I made this video: I filmed it on several occasions throughout one year, to show both day and night at the lounge. However, I remember I arrived once very early in the morning and left again about 22 hours later. And I used the lounge after arrival and again before departure (both with my onward ticket!) - and spent half the day in town, though.
If you are flying anywhere please let us know..I want to know how you are taking the bad news of so many big planes taken out..the 380 with Emirates the 747 with KLM the 767 with AA..not talking about 350s in storage with airlines like Etihad..will be flying in 777s soon..at least the big ME3 are still flying my destinations..
Flew in 9 planes in 3 weeks ..2 in business though I wouldn't consider Airasia flights business even with flatbed. saw 3 lounges.. And yes once used to Emirates the word lounge has a different flavour.. KL definitely doesn't have that flavour.. nor does Jakarta.. though I start to get used to this anomaly.. KL only gets points for the views on tarmac.. Abu Dhabi is nice because so small but indeed winner takes all.. Emirates A lounges are the best in my opinion.. I don't drink alcohol but will look for the Champagne bar in B! For the food.. Just realised I flew with 5 different airlines on those flights! Silk (SQ) Emirates.. Airasia.. KLM.. Garuda.. And saw 6 airports.. All Asia and M. East
Weeks like your last 3 are so exciting! Sounds like some great time you've spent. And yes, the Emirates Lounges are simply unique. I hesitated first with the title. But they are the biggest as matter of fact and by far the best in my world of experience.... And so incredibly different and so far above any European lounge
@@TravelSingFly personally..for food..Etihad is better choice for me..they still make special food without onion nor garlic for me and sometimes chocolate mousse dessert without gelatine or eggs..but it can get tight in their Business lounge as this lounge is pretty small..and I speak about the bigger one..I do not go to the smaller terminal 1 lounge..same as I do not go to Emirates C lounges...I do like Etihad's lounge in Abu Dhabi as it is not so huge..but in the end Emirates is just another experience..hugely different.. Winner !
As an add on.. For me lounges are not the main factor to consider an airline 5 stars.. Schedules.. connections are top priority and straight after that website and application.. How easy is Manage my Booking/Trip.. So many airlines do not reach Emirates' level.. Even their Fly Dubai has a good app (the airline is despised by me.. As much as I love Emirates I try to avoid FlyDubai)
@@TravelSingFly again I get proof on the importance of good working apps and websites.. again I see a double payment..of course Garuda that has a notoriously bad website/app ! Don't even mention customerservice! Only AirAsia Indonesia tops it..I will have to spend tomorrow going to their office..forget about calling..aaaarrrgghh.. Which reminds me to congratulate Emirates (and to a lesser degree KLM) on their excellent customer service by chat..from the website..free No more easy office adress.. I emailed
