I remember listening to a sermon about 7 years ago, & the preacher was talking about how POWERFUL is the name of GOD. He went on & on about it, but never mentioned HIS NAME. So as we were leaving & shaking hands with the preacher; I asked him, “So what is HIS NAME?” He said to me, “Oh HIS NAME is too holy for us to utter!” That answer never made sense to me ... I'm glad I got to hear this. Just about every born again Christian video I go onto, there are always people arguing in the comments section about the correct names of God and Jesus; they type in comment after comment, castigating others for saying God instead of Yah, and Yahoshua instead of Yeshua. They get very angry with you too, and act like, if you really knew God, you would call him Yah, as in Yah bless you.

In South Africa the original translations used to have the name Yehovah in them........ the printing organization eventually removed the name from all 11 national languages...... a tragedy.

Jehovah Witnesses have been proclaiming God name for many years. They officially used that name Jehovah at their July 26 1931 convention in Colombus Ohio based on Isaiah 43: 10; and its wonderful that people like Nehemiah Gorden are proclaiming this name.

They are confirming in minute 10:15 what Jesus said in Mark 7:8. Instead of sanctifying Jehovah’s name, they followed traditions. True Christians in the first century were willing to lose their life for that name.

I wonder why so many people make an issue of the pronunciation of the divine name? No one asks "what is the meaning?" In Hebrew all names have meaning. The pronunciation changes in every language anyway but the MEANING of the name always stays the same and THAT is what is important.

I am truly praying for understanding. For more than half my life. The fathers name was God and son name Jesus. The whole reason I started searching for his covenant name was because I couldn't accept that heavenly "God" would share the same name as the devil. since they call Satan the "god" of this world. Jehovah did say to Abraham that by means of his seed, All nations would bless themselves. God's purpose is to restore all that was lost in Eden. He promised seed, a Messiah that would come to undo all the damage done and would open the way to fulfill his purpose. He blessed Israel and formed them into a nation to provide a means to bring that Messiah out of which, not only would Israel be blessed, but all nations.

The reason they don't want you to pronounce God's name as it actually was is because the name sounds way too close to the English pronunciation of Jehovah. they don't want anything that could tie to Jehovah's Witnesses because when ever that name is uttered, that is who they think of. It's funny though that in Acts 15:14 says, "Symʹe·on has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name." That means that as far as God is concerned, Christianity is associated with God's name. Since it's Jehovah's Witnesses who are associated with that name today, and because despite this fact, most in Christendom refuse to see them as Christians, they don't want to hear that name.

I was told when confused.... Father would like us to speak slowly and clearly and Spell his 4 letter name. It is a sure winner. Don't take chances. Capital Y , Capital H, Capital W, Capital H. This is quite amazing that there are old documents that have this information on them. Is this information covered up to support both Jewish Superstitions and the Dogma of the Trinity which was added around the fourth century?Most of the old and the New Testament doesn't make since based on God being a trinity. You must be born again from above by full surrender of the will back to the One Who gives life to us all. Again Yaweh is a translation error the way Jesus is a translation error from greek. The man who “discovered “ the name yaweh was German. In german language “W” is pronounced like “V” and vice versa. Im one of those others that Yehovah is gathering in! As far as im aware i o not have jewish ancestry but i believe YHWH is calling me. I cannot explain why i feel so driven to keep the sabbath (saturday not sunday fyi) and to not celebrate holidays but instead celebrate His Holy Feast Days (Leviticus 23) and live the laws outlined in the OT. But I feel driven to do everything that is pleasing to Him. I left the mormon (LDS) church about 6 months ago and have been attending a nondenominational christian church but so much doesnt really align with what im learning in my study of the bible. So i have been looking into Jewish synagogues and the like. I dont know where YHWH is calling me to go or how to identify religiously but im starting to think maybe its so much more than denomination and names. Its just worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. The phrase 'halleluYah' is found 4 atimes in Revelation 19, in every language and version of the book. The tetragrammaton, and the name derived from it seems to belong to the god who ordered the animal sacrifices. We know that was not our Creator, because He was explicit through several of the prophets He never commanded it, and was never pleased with it.

It's interesting that in Acts, Peter, some time after the conversion of Cornelius, is standing in Jerusalem and stating that his experience with Cornelius showed him that "for the first time, God took out of the nations a people for his name." (Acts 15:14) Jesus himself stated to God in prayer that He made God's name known and by means of his followers, would continue to make it known. (John 17:26) This clearly makes the point that Christ's true followers would be identified by that name. Have Christians thru out the centuries been identified by God's name? No. So how could this be fulfilled? Jesus, in a parable about the wheat and the weeds pointed out that not long after he planted spiritual wheat, (true Christians), in his field, (representing the world of mankind), an enemy would come in and over sow the field with weeds or imitation Christians. And for centuries, his true followers and the apostates would exist together until the time of the end. It would only be then, in the last days, would a separation take place where his true followers would be gathered together and separated from apostate, or false Christianity. (Matthew 13:24-30) So in the last days, this religion would appear to the apostates as a new religion. But in reality, is a restoration of true Christianity patterned after the original Christianity that Jesus created in the first century. It would be by means of them, that Jesus would continue to make God's name known. This is confirmed by a prophecy in Micah 4:1 "In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it will be raised up above the hills, And to it peoples will stream." Isaiah 2:2 'In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it will be raised up above the hills, And to it all the nations will stream." Jesus also stated what their work or responsibility would be, when he prophesied about the last days and the composite sign showing that we were in the last days, Matthew 24:14 "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited Earth for a Witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." So this shows that his true followers would not only be identified by God's name but would be international in scope and would be known for a global preaching work that Jesus himself is in charge of. 'How is this preaching work to be done? Notice how first century true Christians did it. Acts 20:20 "while I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house." Acts 5:42 "And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus. The verse Nehemia reads in Zephaniah 3:9 is already fulfilled with Christ's true followers. It does not refer to a literal language but to the language of truth. Paul stated to all Christians, 1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you should all speak in agreement and that there should be no divisions among you, but that you may be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought." Who are known by God's name, are seen as a recent religion, are international in scope and yet united in their beliefs and teachings with no racial, national, or ethnic divisions, and preach the good news of the Kingdom from house to house?
