I was part of a Bible study group last Sunday night and was rebuked for stating that the Adventist church had the truth. Apparently, according to some of those who were partaking in the study, all churches have truth, and as long as we believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved. Ummm don't we have the Three Angel's messages to proclaim? Who is Babylon? And what is her mark? If we believe in Christ, then we need also to believe in His word, and walk in the light of that word, otherwise we will end up walking on the broad road of deception that leads to destruction.
@@s.alfred5151 it could be, i have had a bad bone in my foot and I cannot do customary kneeling which is a sign of respect to elders, husband and God. It can be hard to kneel due to uncooperating bones but we have faith that one day they will be fixed.
Your comment has led me to think about postures of worship/prayer Moses praying with bare feet (burning bush) Elijah was standing while at a competition with Jezebel's prophets. Moses raised hands, and Hur and Aaron assisted. At one time David danced and it did not please the wife. Another time David pretended to be insane Psalm 34 Other prophets put on sack cloth. Miriam danced and led other women to dance We can discover and practice multiple postures, we do not have to engage in any customary practices but express ourselves as the Spirit leads. (Ezekiel 24:15-27) God is not desperate for our practices, a broken and contrite spirit, is His dwelling place (Isaiah 57:15) Postures of prayer: Be still/Silence/abide in the Lord (Ezekiel when he lost wife, Job at a loss, Hosea, a prophet and the unfaithful wife) Confession (Two men who went to pray at the temple) Persistence (dog-breadcrumb minded woman) Meekness (Moses dealing with family and stiff necked people) God is bending us all toward redemption. His ways are not our ways. It is us to be grateful for His mercies upon us everyday, choose willingly a prayer posture for your Heavenly Father and Creator. Upright posture, Jesus is reconciling the World to His Father 😌🙏 Kneeling position when He is washing the disciples feet and asking the to abide in His love. The last hospitality gesture he did for them to express His deep love for them and all of us(mankind). He wants us to enter His joy and co-heir with Him. God is patient with each one of us, let us be patient with each other, helping one another to run towards the finish line
