I don't understand this review you have of the zoo. The first 3/4 of the video are negative comments. I go every weekend, sometimes twice a weekend. You can always see animals you just need to know where to look. You can always see the pandas. It's best to see them outside in the morning but you can also go inside the building to see them. There is free parking on the street on the weekends, if you know how to parallel park. The Metro is an excellent way to get to the zoo. Use the Cleveland Park stop rather than Woodley Park/Zoo. They are equal distance to the zoo but the walk from Cleveland Park is easier and less hilly. The best advice I can give is to go early if you don't want to deal with crowds. I don't blame the animals for being afraid of the children because children can be loud as well as adults who yell animal noises at the animals in hopes they will respond. (They won't.) Many places throughout the zoo encourage people to use quiet voices at the exhibits and that is good advice. Respect the animals and listen. You can learn a lot from observing and you can often hear how the animals communicate with each other or their keepers. If anyone has questions about what the zoo is really like you can comment below and I will answer.

We would visit there back in the sixties but visiting there now and seeing many of the animals are not there any longer. It doesn’t have nearly as many animals it once had.

Watching the video and taking the time to do the comment. Hopefully they will replace the panda when it goes and get more animals. Thanks again for watching.

@letsgoseeit457 That's true but they once had an array of different exotic animals

We do love the pandas. They’re beautiful animals. It is the zoo’s most prized animal.
