The Navigators Atlantic Canada's most unique electric/acoustic Celtic band features two of Newfoundland's impressive baritones Fred Jorgensen (whistles, bodhran, guitar) and the rich Newfoundland Irish voice of Arthur O'Brien (fiddle, acoustic/electric guitar) a singer songwriter with genuine love of his homeland. The Navigators have received multiple awards and nominations. Their 3rd recording "Soldier & Sailors" delivers a mix of modern electric folk and traditional Irish Newfoundland melodies. In the last 12 months the band has toured The USA from Coast to Coast, Canada five times and in 2010 Europe

Absolutely beautiful song and the voice of Fred Jorgensen is such a unique sound much like that of dubliners , the sound is of the special variety , Then there is the sound of Arthur O’Brian Who in itself is more than enough to carry any band or entourage of musicians or warm the heart and soul of any Irish men (or Newfoundlander) So much great homegrown talent within this group. Thanks you b’ys for keeping the culture and music alive on the rock. God Love ya !

I quoted this tune in my father's eulogy. Looked out on all those who matter to me, reminded them of all the wonderful times we spent around my late parents' table and begged them to never let those days trickle form their minds. Thank you Fred, Arthur and all!

I have to reiterate Robert Newhook's comments. Your voice is incredible. I close my eyes and listen and your voice puts me in such a calming place. I have honestly never felt like that listening to any other song in my life. I honestly can't even describe how this connects me to my past. thank you for sharing
