Yeah ok do you not watch nba it’s happening with all stars lebron , Davis , curry sometimes Durant they giving the young guys more free throws to make them better every since they stopped harden free throws he went averaging over 30+ to getting 20 every now n then
If you ever thought Kyrie was “cooked” you haven’t been paying attention. He’s never struggled outside of injury and a media campaign to destroy his character. Keep in mind he’s only 6’2
How many finals has he been in during his prime after crying his way out of every team and where is his team that he lead lol go touch grass you crazy fan
Imagine him with free throws 😂😂tryna tell mfs prime harden had nun on kyrie his numbers would fluctuate due to free throws let Kyrie get that same whistle we’d be calling him the goat pg
I've said this for years, dude is a true bucket getter. When he gives you 30 you clearly see it in the field goals, not the free throw line. Same can be said for KD.
@@drymouf6669 Lol what does height and being a 2 have to do with that? Allen Iverson is 6'0 and in an era where it was tougher. He was clearly the #1 option
@@drymouf6669 it is a bad thing he acting like he is 6’9 an tryna be the number one option he is a lil boy in a grown man body tbh especially for thinking he deserved any better than what Lebron gave him he is fake woke an he will forever be Lebron son
idk he was saying some crazy shit like the world is flat lmao. Nobody’s canceling him just callin him crazy 😂 doesn’t negate he’s probably the most skilled person to touch a ball
@@Wish-esexactly. Some folks refuse to be honest about Kyrie because they have a certain world view. He didn’t sign up to play with LeBron and asked out. Celtics was worst with him & moved on. Nets did nothing while Kyrie was doing all this talk like he was the GM. Always hurt or not available. Folks who think he is correct about about the vaccine or comments about a movie get amnesia about his history.
please don't start , he hasn't been getting the media attention ALL SEASON...he's playing great when he's not injured & we dont need any distractions...please let this man be
@@littleoneforever6450kid, if somebody doesn't agree with u, it doesn't mean he's a hater. If I say: "The Lakers are mid team" when they're at the bottom of the play-in, Am I hater too? Grow up
Hey, maybe his priorities were not straight in recent years, but his talent and performance were never in question for me. That's why it is even more frustrating to not see him play to his potential. Best ball handler and finisher in the history of the game for me.
.. his top priorities didn't seem to be putting a basketball through the hoop like most of his NBA colleagues. And it's entertainment. He's living his life. Super talented as you said. Wishing him well in everything.
As Dame said, Kyrie has the most beautiful game. The way he moves is like the best way to do whatever move that is. So perfect that I only watch NBA when Kyrie plays ✌🏻
Kyrie has the best handles in history and still does! Controversy aside, this man is the best PG in this generation. The only time he went to the finals to face Curry with a healthy squad, Cavs won.
Most skilled PG? Sure if we're talking purely handles and shooting but Luka gives him a run for his money with how insanely deep his bag is. Best PG outright? You're being ridiculous now, he's definitely among the best but not in the actual BEST conversation.
@@DebasedAnon no it's not rediculous. You said it yourself, most skilled. You can't contradict yourself and say I'm being rediculous at the same time unless you are rediculous yourself.
@@GiottoX There is literally no position, PG included, where being amazing at 1 aspect of it makes you "the best" you're delusional. He's got insane handles and is a good shooter, if he was amazing at every aspect of the game you could argue it back and forth but then you'd run up against the brick wall of accomplishments and Steph beats him by miles in that regard. Jordan isn't Jordan cause "he had the best midrange jumper" he's Jordan because he was unreal in almost every single aspect of the game.
Kyrie can crash through a wall of defenders (with a bit of illegal travel here and there) and finish. . . So can Steph, except that Kyrie's act is more impressive to most Americans, because they admire individual prowess more than teamwork. Steph can do both -- get free to shoot by using passing maneuvers in cooperation with teammates, or dribble through them like Kyrie.
Kobe knew that if he play one on one that day against Kyrie he would lose. The only way for Kobe to win it's study his opponent first. But pretty sure Kyrie in his prime there's no chance for Kobe at all to stop him....
I don’t believe it because Kobe would lock kyrie up, he didn’t get elite until his 2year he always had good handles but he wasn’t an elite player until year 2 or 3. I have faith in my boy though.
Kyrie has always been great but his game has changed recently and has somehow gotten even better. Way more efficient and effective in how he handles the ball and takes his shots, has improved his passing and his defense
All the big new match ups that everyone were originally disappointed about are starting to work it out. Kyrie and Luka. Giannis and Dame. And ofc Harden, George and Leonard. Teams just need a bit of time to adjust and work each other out, can’t always happen immediately.
1) Kyrie Irving isn't too confusing. He's just too smart for most to understand. 2) He doesn't have bad seasons... he only has seasons where you don't deserve for him to play well.
Dallas Kyrie, will be the best Kyrie yet. He doesn't need Luka to be great, but having Luka be the clear number one just makes everything easier for him, and in turn also benefits Luka. Luka is the most double-teamed player in the NBA again this season, and if teams keep doing that, Kyrie is really going to make them pay dearly. The Mavs really need to put a better team around those two. They have some good role players, but they're all too inconsistent.
Basketball (especially NBA basketball) is a unique team sport in which the individual player can be propped up (and destroyed) on a pedestal. The media eats it up too. There are other team sports that exist outside of the US like indoor volleyball, and the media and the fans don't expose/discuss locker room drama as much. At least I don't see it at the same level as the NBA and the American media.
I don't know what fella's been watching. Kyrie has never been anything short of amazing whenever he actually played. It was always about the breaks, controversies and potential injuries. That man is always a problem with a ball in his hands.
It's not the NBA that has the Kyrie problem but Dallas and it's a problem that especially those who had the insane idea of signing him to work alongside Doncic should have; crazy choice, if not incompetent
Ain't going to matter if we can't get healthy. One injury after another. Hoping we can be healthy by the all star break. Just gotta tread water for next week or so and hope we get healthy for a late season push
That narrative that Kyrie is a problem in the lockeroom is entirely media created.I have never seen or heard anything that would support that contention.Neither has anyone else.
Kyrie Irving is the best and most underrated player in the NBA. He is not the biggest, or fastest, or strong. But he is capable of anything he needs in the moment. Lights out shooting.
I'm his fans it doesnt bother me how much media told that he's making drama, i just care about his plays on the court. if in my lifetime i had a chance to watch him directly, id gladly take it and it such an honor, bcos of him too im starting to watch NBA. and despite in his bad game I would still watch him, I want to see how his handling and finishing moves that shown on the court, is it just camera angle and some slow mo effect that make him look good? nah i dont think so
The "team killer" narrative was created by the media that have a hate bones for him, because kyrie talks shit about them, on the other hand nba players love him.
No one takes them serious cause the team just can’t defend with these two. It’s a literal jack off show of offensive ability. That’s it nothing else and nothing more. They won’t go anywhere in the playoffs even if they do get there. Which in itself speaks volumes.
If the Mavs added a Jokic or someone similar, they'd be unstoppable Edit: Before y'all come at me, I'm not saying it'd be possible, just speaking on a skill set that would change a finals run for them.
This is a example that you don’t need a full five man team of superstars. All you need is two solid players, who know how to move the rock and you will most likely get a ring just let them work.
I love Kyrie and when he's on he's unstoppable. But let's be honest he'll be lucky to play half the season and will get hurt in the first round of the playoffs.
Stats are nice. But Dallas is an 8 seed right now, 24-20. He needs to be part of an overachieving team for once. His teams from Boston to Brooklyn to Dallas all have mostly disappointed, and Kyrie is the common thread.
If the Mavs were stupid enuff to offer him a Big contract? Blame Mark Cuban! He was taking 2 weeks vacation with the Nets, but still would take time to go pick up his check… SMH! 😂 (also u forgot to mention that guy that got drafted by Houston but was afraid to fly on airplanes)
Um nobody thought he was cooked. They thought he was a cancer in the locker room and for the most part the way he beat it was by mostly shutting the f*ckup
I mean his abilities as a basketball player have never been question, I just thought it was wild that a dude who literally has a whole staff of people working to keep him healthy didnt wanna listen to medical science and then made some freshman in college conspiracy takes. Something i've been thinking about a lot is how many folks in the league are literally kids, they're in their 20s. They're still babies but have a stupid amount of money so we think they're adults/way wiser than they actually are - important to remember, they're in bc they're in their 20, they're going to make mistakes that folks in their 20s make but on a national scale 🤷♂
@@YettisBack he used to be my favorite too but I can at least be real about things. He's overrated and can't score whenever he wants. What happened when Milwaukee held him to one of the worst shooting performances by a number 1 his last season in Boston? What happened when the Celtics swept him and kd? Kyrie isn't the most skilled and can't turn it up whenever he wants. It's amazing how many people overrate him
@@thetraveler9 hes skilled bro and fun to watch still. idk why nba fans have to find so many reasons to hate a player. if you dont like him anymore fine but we could still respect his game and he is still respected throughout the league. still on the top of scouting reports.
@@YettisBack youre right.im too critical of him. Maybe cause I always wanted him to be a dominant/MVP type player and been disappointed that he's not lived up to that. Still one of the most fun players to watch ever but it seems like he doesn't have many highlight and saucy plays this season as others. I think he's dialed it back.
they purposely didnt make the playoffs last year to get derrick lively. and they neeeeed dlive now. i think he slowed down in the laker game because when he collided with lebron and landed on his hip. all his shots were short after.
Thinking Kyrie was 'cooked' is not a good look for anyone claiming to be a serious fan. I'm not particularly a Kyrie fan. His skill set doesn't require extreme athleticism. He's skilled in the realm of all time greats like Kobe Bryant. He's not aged out. Besides buying into negative and sometimes racist takes on sports talk media there is no way to reasonably assume his career was done or even significantly slowed.
I think in NBA if you’re not a Nike endorser, you don’t get any and1 calls or no calls at all. just like Steph as well. Cause he’s with Under Armor and Kyrie is under Anta now.
Ever since Kyrie left Lebron he has been exposed he is the perfect example of cutting off your nose to spite your face Lebron took him to 3 finals in a row since he left Lebron he has gotten closer to the moon than he has the finals 😊
