I remember when the Nets/Lakers/Clippers were supposed to run the league. Crazy how much things changed.

I remember how hyped this was going into the season

The 2019 summer was the wildest moment in recent nba history. So many new duos and storylines waiting to unfold, and for better or worse, pretty much none of it has gone according to planned.

Every game they played in 2020 was hype asf. It was always a competitive game, never a blowout. After the blown 3-1 lead no one bothered enough about the Clippers to really care about it again.

It feels like boxing. We are teased and it never happens. Then all of a sudden, when both are over the hill, it comes together and happens - yet leaves everyone wondering what it would have been like at their peaks and if the result really counts in their minds.

Those regular season matchups were super hype tho they felt like playoff games, man I wish they met in the playoffs

I remember hearing that the trade didn't happen NOT because NBA didn't think the package for CP3 wasn't good enough. The wage bill in Cholarlotte after the trade was going to be too high. Basically, they didn't do the trade because they wanted to sell the make the Hornets as attractive as possible to a buyer.
