@@DeclanHiggins__ last decent storyline (wouldnt go far to say any have ever been good. Still hated Justice and Denver, though. (Dont get me started on Alabaster, man never passed to me after inter team scrimmage, no matter how wide open i was. Always got happy when the backup got in)

Tf you talking bout? Gameplay wise it gets better every year. This years game is a huge step in player movement and such. No more zig zag bums or any of that trash. Now if they’d just remove the speed boost dribble moves and op passing lanes steals it’d be close to perfect for me.

Personally I’d rather them just drop the game with no story and focus the resources elsewhere. Maybe a cutscene here and there for milestones, but we don’t need to be held up by a poorly written story we care nothing about.
Thank u I’ve legit been saying that since it came out. My least favorite part is when they take u out the starting line up. Before then I was trying to make me and Beal avg 30 but after that everything went out the window and I started avg 60/0/0 😂 shit actually pissed me off

@@assmane999 I was averaging 6.5 apg and I still got benched. I also chose to get drafted by Orlando and had us at the 1 seed in the east. We fell to, like, the 10th seed with me playing 5 minutes a game.
I dropped 72 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks and 3 posters on Shep’s head and Kendrick called me a bum, and I got moved to the 7th man until I could get 6 A+ teammate grades smh 🤦♂️

Two words. Online gaming. Back 10 years ago, MyCareer was your hot game mode. Today, it's online multi-player. When you give the player the ability to literally buy your success in the game, you drop the sliders to score an ungodly amount of points right off the rip when that wouldn't happen. These storylines would make a little more sense had they been implemented in 2k10-2k11 where you couldn't "pay to play" for online gaming
It would be cool if their was a basketball game just focused on mycareer like making things how certain teams play defense and offense more realistic and ur teammates playstyle being able to bounce of u. I understand 2k can’t do it cuz they got a lot to worry about but just a whole game bout mycareer nothing else
Some guy I know dropped 50+ ppg and averaged a triple double damn near a triple double. Was called a bum after he dropped 126 points 32 rebounds 12 assists 8 blocks and steals.
One thing that pissed me off was when I going off in my 2nd ever out of 5 NBA game and the other team pulled a time out. Then the game ended up taking me out. Next thing I know all the points I raked up was for nothing cuz the other team somehow surpassed me and it was 4th quarter with less a minute left in the game and there was no way I could make a comeback

Bro I scored 25 3s and dropped 79 points, on the Bucks, which was Shep’s team. I led the league in points and assists, I won rookie of the month 5 times, won player of the month twice, swept every single season team with the Nuggets in the playoffs, won the league, won 69 games in the regular season, won MVP and Rookie of the Year, and still had Kendrick Perkins telling me I’m a bust and meat riding Shep, defending him after he said he was better than Lebron

makes it worse that if your save file for MyCareer corrupts, then you have to start all over and replay the horrible story over again. This has happened to me TWICE this year and I refuse to play this game anymore. WHY DO THEY NOT DO BACKUP SAVES.

I was taken out of my starter position because I scored 88 points and had 28 rebounds with 10 blocks. The next game I wasn’t starting so I’m like huh that’s weird, so I checked the roster minutes after that game and I was back as a sixth man 😂

I’m averaging 36.5, 9 and 9 and only got to play 10 minutes in the rising stars challenge😂. The craziest part is I still dropped 29 on 100% shooting on that bum, and gave him 83 on our only regular season game we played against each other
2k puts so little efforts into their games yet people will still buy a new game every year like the new iPhone. I was playing 2k21 and bought 23 last year, yet there was no improvement. It feels like the game is stagnant since 17. Probably won’t get another 2k game in 5 years

I had a I think a streak of nearly 20 games averaging a 50 point quadruple double, and I’m still getting called out by people telling me I’m a trash basketball player, I think the idea is to inspire you to push harder, but in all honestly it’s just kinda annoying, I wanna play the real game and become a dj and a fashionista!
