Is it true that Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens (Modern humans) both evolved from Homo Heildbergensis, with Neanderthals doing so in Europe and the Middle East and modern humans doing so in Africa?

I did know that Neanderthals inhabited Europe and the Middle East while Denisovans lived in Asia and India, but I didn’t know that Neaderthals might have immigrated into India alongside modern humans, I am learning something new almost every day!

No, because modern humans do not have any MtDNA from neanderthals. We only have some of their nuclear DNA.

Thousands of years ago, during the Late Pleistocene and Last Ice Age, there were multiple hominin or human species living in Europe, Africa and Asia including Neaderthals in Europe (Who evolved from Homo Heidelbergensis) and the Middle East, modern humans or Homo Sapiens (Who also evolved from Homo Heidelbergensis), in Africa who immigrated into Europe, (Called Cro-Magnons there) Asia, Australia and the Americas (Called Paleo-Indians there) and interbreed with other hominid species, Homo Floresiensis who evolved from Homo Erectus living in Indonesia, Denisovans who evolved from Homo Erectus living in Asia and a few surviving Homo Antecessor, Homo Erectus and Homo Heidelbergensis, archaeological and paleoanthropological research shows that the archaic human species (Neanderthals, Denisovans, Homo Floresiensis, Homo Antecessor, Homo Heidelbergensis and Homo Erectus) might have also had art, cave paintings, domesticated cats and dogs, hunting and gathering skills, music, buried and mourned their dead, culture and villages like the modern humans and Homo Sapiens did and might have been able to talk like modern humans do, but by the end of the Last Ice Age and in the Neolithic, while modern humans a.k.a. Homo Sapiens survived into the present day and future, all the archaic human species (Neanderthals, Denisovans, Homo Floresiensis, Homo Antecessor, Homo Heidelbergensis and Homo Erectus) went extinct and that changes to the climate, diseases or competition with Homo Sapiens might have wiped them out. Though the archaic humans are now extinct, they must have interbreed with modern humans and we must have their DNA, despite not being archaic human and modern human hybrids or full archaic human: Humans descended from Europe and the Middle East must have Homo Antecessor and Neanderthal DNA. Humans descended from Asia must have Denisovan, Homo Erectus and Homo Floresiensis DNA.

I can think of a language that might have involved different sounds that are meant to mean something without being sophisticated - just lots of sounds for things for instance, maybe a sound for danger, maybe accompanied by gestures like pointing.

@@heliotropezzz333 You may be right, but my understanding was always that language involves grammar and that grammar by it's very nature is complex. What you're describing is something a lot of animals do and we never call that language. But of course you may be right and thanks for responding.

Language is a form of communication and what I described is a form of communication which has conventions that a group can understand. One definition of language is: a 'method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way'.

Grunting, body language, expressions, gestures, intonation, laughing(?); and shoving, pushing, pulling, striking. A lot can be said without structured language. Ancient languages were probably as complex as modern ones, but nothing can really be said about them

I too am 3.7 % neanderthal as per my DNA test. Iam short and stocky built large rib cage small hips. When I was pregnant they did an xray of my pelvis said it was very small compared to my shoulders and large rib cage dr made the comment if they were to find my skeleton it could be mistaken for a young adolescent male lol

I also have 3 autoimmune diseases which I find interesting after watching this video
