Hi all! A few people are upset this is not in stock, but it actually goes up for sale on the 30th of August according to their sale document found here: qwertykeys.notion.site/Neo-65-6c8ae7895ec442dea809057c3dc5e113 I hope this helps!
wow, I’m impressed with the sound particularly with the gasket pod things, wishing gummy o ring sounded better honestly, but certainly very impressed for this price point!!
anyone else have this board and having issues with pairing the 2.4ghz dongle? I followed build instructions and tried other usb A ports but no luck. BT and wired work just fine.
"We finally get a board that doesn't absolutely need foam to sound good but instead acts as a modifier for people who enjoy that sound signature" This is so on point! Foam kits should be offered even for designer premium boards, its about the user not the designer and w/e they intended.
I had no idea that I was already subbed to you. On that note though I had drunkenly ordered one of these the other day and now I'm super stoked to receive it!
You review all kinds of keyboards I like, but our preferences for sound-profiles are very far apart. You like high-pitched, I like low-pitched and muted. :D
Been using this board for a few months and man, I have boards I've paid considerably more for that I don't like as much. Still best value 65% for 2023 imo.
How does this compare to a ck bakeneko60? Looks like a similar bounce. Not to much but just enough. Really wish these great boards existed when I was getting in the hobby.
Definitely much higher value than rnvoy and similar feel/sound options, side profile, little-no dependence on foam, and neo has tri mode with the option for pvd weights as well and it comes with pretty good stabilizers in the box, so it should be much better than the envoy if your concerning what you get for the price
is there any info if they will come up with a Neo 80 / TKL? I feel like the budget brands (QK and Zoom) TKL's was kind of a miss and didn't really sound impressive. I have high hopes their take on a TKL would sound as amazing as this and would even compete with the pricey TKL's we know ($300-500$) like the Jane, Line friends, Mr Suit, etc..
OH MAN OK YOU WENT WITH CLACKY PLATES. AFTER LOOKING INTO THIS FURTHER THE GASKIT MOUNT AND PC OR POM DOES IN FACT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE, ALSO NO FOAM AND OFC A NON HOT SWAP PCB WILL ALSO MAKE IT MOAR THOCK. I KNOW PC IS GENREALLY MOAR THOCK THAN POM BUT I ACTUALLY LIKE THE POM PLATE AS IMHO IT HAS MORE CHARACTER AND STILL HAS A GOOD AMOUNT OF THOCK, EITHER WAY HUGE DIFFERENCE FROM THE ALUMINUM AND FR4 THEY ARE LIKE SUPER-CLACK. ALSO, SWITCHES WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE OFC. I BELIEVE I WILL BE RUNNING GATORON OIL KINGS THOUGH I DO HAVE A THING FOR MX HYPERGLIDES ONCE YOU BREAK THEM IN AND BASICALLY DROWN THEM IN 205G0. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO IT IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. I LIKE YOUR NO-BULLSHIT APPROACH. GOOD SHIT BRO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
The only thing about QK that's sketch is the "free gifts". They've sent me stabs with only a 6.25u TWICE for my QK60's which don't even support the 6.25u space so they're utterly useless.
@@offbrandbiscuit You can use that logic indefinitely you know that right? Haha. The keeb I've been using for a year now is 4 degrees which is ideal for me. I'd be willing to go up to 6.5 but that's my hard limit. It's just so stupid since most people in the world type in 1-4 degree membrane boards which is the best for wrist health. Yet all customs are tall as fck. I guess I'll have to wait for the Jris65 R3.
Mine don’t have ticking or rattle after Lubing the stems/housing, and Lubing the wire and plugging the grease with dielectric grease. So I guess they work
@@alexotos Oh snap, Ill keep an eye out I really want a Keeb I dont have to buy off the resale market.... its getting old how fast they sell out. This thing seems amazing. I love my QK75 and was wanting to try something smaller
Honestly I felt that the o-ring mount fell very very short in nearLucid's video of it, the plateless gasket mount sounded a lot nicer to my ears. But Snayee's build with Meteor v3s and the alu plate + o-ring sounded quite nice, so who knows. If they do a Neo60, I might pick one up in the cheapest config just for fun, but it'll depend on how it goes and if they stick with the plateless gasket/o-ring dual mounting style for the 60% version. They should also include a larger weight for versions that don't have wireless sicne the batteries are pointless if you're using it wired, but taking them out means hollow space under the weight that negatively impacts the sound.
