Triangles are the best known and most respected and reliable patterns for trading from the charts. Triangles work for forex, cryptocurrency, commodities, stocks and more.
I put wedges, pennants, symmetrical, ascending, descending triangles all into one category.. which I call simply triangles.
Triangles give no directional clues so you need to look for the breakout. But there are rules, you need to see a shift in volume and wait for the formation of the third candle. Once all these processes take place you can not use your triangle to judge your entry point, your target and your stop loss.
