They cast a spell on me when I was blessed to see them live at bumbershoot in Seattle back in the day. Not many groups sound better live than soundtrack. C'mon now. Blessing me in 2021.
I love the Neville bros! My very favorite is Cyril, the great singer, free-minded, his cool, funky, personal style!! I love Charles' playing and the fantastic sense of riddim. I love Aaron's personal singing...Actually I simply love them all together!!

They were always great! I first heard them in '81! Fell in love with their music! So much so that I put them in my New Orleans novel, coming out soon! Stumbled updat Cyril Neville´s excellent album Magic Honey a few years back. Then I read he was in a band with his brothers. Such a great find. This is real music. So Funky and incredible musicianship.

Aloha Y'all! I'm a Native New Orlinian living on the Big Island of Hawai'i. I remember one of the first "Battle of the Bands" in New Orleans. The scheduler for the Audubon Park Amphitheater played a joke And scheduled The Neville Bros., Dr. John the Tripper, and Professor Longhair all at the same time!!!!
Loved soul music from a child. Remember having had a little radio. Tuned in to soul music out of Franklin, Tennessee. Bobby blue bland. Etta James. Oh, in the first place. James Brown. Look what is today. A horror show.
These brothers are amazingly talented musicians and vocalists. I was hooked the first time I heard them and listened to Aaron Neville sing the song Tell it like it is. 🤗 👏🙌
Saw them LIVE in Cologne so many years ago. It was an explosion !!!! People couldn´t stand still. We all had a blast. They are,...well no one can be compared to them :-)
Oh man, what a GREAT time I had with this band. One of the best nights of my life, 1991, Jazz Fest, Tips late show, they started playing at midnight! OMG, what a wild time....ah youth! 😊 Fiyo on Da Bayou!
Saw them in 1980 or so In Houston . I was completely mesmerized by there music and the voices. I have a signed fire on the bayou album and still listening to this day……
