I used to think that my country was being tyranic and anti-human rights for banning gay parades etc, but now I realize how great my country is for not playing along with all this woke BS. 🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
Banning gay parades is a huge selling point for a lot of people, that's exactly what a lot of sane people are trying to get away from.. and everything that goes with the 'Pride', etc.
@@wherezthebeef funny thing is that I agree that gay parades became woke, sadly, in many countries, since gay rights are already existing and there is no reason to fight or demonstrate for something that is already there. But in a country where there are gays being beaten up just for who they are, without doing anything "woke", those demonstrations (the ones that "prides" originally are) are actually really needed. That is not woke then, that is standing up for your rights. So there is a difference, ain't it?
I also thought it like so, sure everyone deserves to be left alone but when they are given privileges and goaded to denigrate others, especially males you know they aren't noble anymore

Relations between Russia and the United States are one of the most unfair pages in the history of the planet. Catherine II refused to support British operations against American independence and did not send a Russian fleet, but created a league of neutral countries that traded with the United States during the years of the British trade blockade. During the Civil War, Russia sent a fleet to guard the shores of the United States, protecting the country from interference by European countries on the side of the South. During the First World War we were on the same side. And in response to all this, the United States staged an invasion of Russia during the Russian Civil War. And with its cruelty and crimes against the local population it contributed to the victory of the communists. After which the United States spent a billion dollars during the 1930s to re-arm Nazi Germany, creating an invincible German war machine that took the lives of 30 million men, women and children. And after all this, the Russians hoped. We threw out the communists in the hope of becoming friends with the Americans. but were only robbed and reduced to nothingness.

@@brentritchie6199 It very much depends which part of Russia you find yourself in during winter months, as Russia spans across 11 time zones. In my experience, if you are in the western parts, say, between Moscow and Kazan, the climate is very continental, i.e. warm/hot summers and cold dry winters. A cold winter is Russia is different in a way that quite often it is a dry cold, which is a lot more pleasant and manageable than a miserable wet (and milder) winter, say, in the UK. Then if you take places like St Petersburg in the north, it can be a wet and miserable climate, especially in winter months, just like in Britain. I have spent time in Russia and really liked it. If you have a medium income you can live a normal life. When you consider that states like CA. now use the public schools to indoctrinate LGBT99 extremes and other similar things, you know this is now spreading to every metropolitan are of the US and in 10 yrs more people might really want to live in a place where normal "family values" are, well normal. In Russia, gay people are pretty much accepted if they just live their lives discreetly as Strait people who have swinger lifestyles do. In fact, when Gay parades take place in Ukraine and elsewhere, often most of those marching are outsiders and I have heard local gays express they wish these activists would stay away.
The thing is, that those parades leads to nothing, but hate. It makes normal gays lifes harder, because hate projects on them too, even if they have nothing to do with this actions. So... In that case, Russia is a better place even for gays (descreet ones). If persons sexual views doesn't come out of their bedroom it's all okay - no one will even say anything bad.
It's simple - your sexual life is your own business. It's called *intimate* for a reason. LGBT is a political movement that exists to push corporate political agenda. Russia didn't care about the whole rainbow flag movement too, until they started to indoctrinate children a trans children became a thing. People were shocked and it caused outrage globally. Many countries passed the laws against LGBT propaganda after that. As a someone with a field medic training, believing in a "do no harm" principle i'll say that the whole gender change does *a lot* of harm in most cases. First - it makes a person sterile. Second - you can't mess with hormones without consequences, physical and mental. And just a personal statictics. Out of ~150 trans people i knew or heard about 45 decided to off themselves. And all of them were from different places, some were very rich and all of them were never really harassed by anyone.
I live in Russia and have double citizenship with USA. I love it here. Thank you, Nomad for not falling for the western propaganda. I’ve hosted my Russophobic acquaintances with homestay visas and now they are Russophiles.
I can assure you that North Korea ia also not woke. Yes, people there eat grasshopers to stay alive, but at least it's not woke. Duh, bro, why are people unsubbing? F-ing mistery of 21 century
Their are other countries to choose from. People are tired of the U.S. It's not about what is best for the country, the government is focused on themselves and how much money they can grab up. Many countries are coming up and doing better than the U.S.
Ah yes, the old North Korea and Somalia tropes to avoid discussing that maybe one of the other 251 countries and territories has something better than where you live.
@@nomadcapitalist stealing children from Ukraine is also considered anti-woke? Please, clarify the terminology, because I think that you hopefully unknowingly mixed western conservatism with neofeodalist-oligarch-communistofashist regime. NK and Somali aside, russia is a country, which politics is to massmurder people in neighbour countries while killing opposition with novichok. Maybe that's considered conservative now, I'd like to know if that's the case. I sincirely thought up until that video, that Nomad Capitalist is about libertarianism, freedom and human rights.
I’m not a white Christian, but I am a “traditionalist” in that vague sense. I value “old-school” ideals that have helped the human race thrive, I value the freedom to live and let live, however as long as you don’t interfere with my way of life, and don’t shove things down my throat without any choice. This is the life in Canada right now and I’m sick of it. Trudeau won’t stop taxing us to death, EVERY SINGLE DAY, he comes up with new ways to ruin our lives. 😩
I’m Canadian but have been working away for 10 years. I went home for a visit last year and couldn’t believe how much had changed for the worse! The country has been destroyed by mass third world immigration. I was heartbroken. We used to be an English -French nation which was already hard with Quebec wanting to separate, so Trudeau Senior came up with the idiotic idea of “ multiculturalism” in the late 70s and 80s to show Quebec two cultures could live together. Then it went mad… we no longer had our English-based culture, with newcomers becoming Anglo-Canadian. (Don’t know how it went or is going in Quebec but I hear it’s no better). All of a sudden everyone could keep their own cultures and we were everything and nothing. It actually worked for a couple of decades as immigration was extremely restrictive. Very few people were let into the country and only those who could sustain themselves (ie not low-skilled people from 3rd world backward cultures who wouldn’t integrate) were let in. Bloody Trudeau Juniour though, opened the floodgates and so destroyed one of the most beautiful and peaceful countries ever created. I lived in downtown Toronto and Vancouver and the first time I saw Muslim dress was in my 30s - in the early 2000s. She was wearing the whole outfit, with veil (illegal in France and elsewhere in Europe) but I didn’t even know what she was. It totally freaked me out. Can’t believe it’s been allowed to happen. Canadian society at best, is no longer the cohesive one of my youth and all worst - is fracturing terribly. Our multiculturalism was the Newfies with their boats and fish, the prairie cowboys, the west coast loggers/ outdoorsy types, our corporate Toronto with great music scene, same for Montreal but in French, out northern Inuit and of course our various native communities. Hockey, kindness and Judeo-Christian values for just about everyone - whether church goers or not (but many did). The change has been dramatically for the worse. Crazy to thing it wasn’t even good for our economy to let so many in! Canada’s gdp per capita is now destroyed too. Plus, accommodation is through the roof. Canadians can’t afford to even have families. Left wing radicals (and possibly Islamists) have burnt down over 100 churches because of the burial sites hoax. It’s unbelievable what’s happened to my country in such a short time. Unless they deport all the Islamists and all other loser immigrants soon and close the border behind them, letting in only a very few highly skilled immigrants, Canada will be finished. It’s tragic.
This is for a 3 year TEMPORARY visa that requires an FBI criminal background check, and a physical exam including a drug test. After which, if you want a permanent residency visa leading to citizenship you MUST take a test for Russian language, history and law exam that is non trivial. In other words, you need to know more than hello and goodbye in Russian. How do I know? I just took the exam and applied for permanent residency.
I travelled to Russia a lot with work in the 2010s, including obscure cities. Led me to take a world cup holiday and explore the country by plane and train. It was clearly on the up, embracing freedom and true capitalism. No wonder the old West wanted to hammer it down again, just like 1917.
Сейчас не смогут, спасибо товарищу Сталину и Берии за ядерное оружие и огромное количество законсервированной техники. Видимо о чем то догадывался наш варчиф🤙
I have learned five languages, with English being my third. I have made my home on three different continents. I already have two citizenships and am working on my third. Please allow me to share my humble experience with you all in the comments section. Learning a language or immigrating to another country is very hard and will required a lot of patience. It sounds to me that the motivation of many of you to learn Russian is a result of a negative emotion toward a certain group of people. Negative emotion alone is draining. Positive emotions are energizing. If you want to move to Russia because you have always been fascinated by Russian culture, literature and the Russian people, then you will succeed. But if you want to move to Russia because you hate a group of people, then you have to ask yourself: what will happen once you arrive Russia? Do you really think Russians will throw a party to welcome you as their hero? If you can't appreciate people who are different than you right now, what makes you think you will appreciate people different than you in Russia? You will just replace your hate for wokeness in the west with your hate for something else in Russia.
Wrong... most immigration is somehow motivated by 'hate' of the status quo. Refugees hating their political environment. Economic migrants 'hating' their economic landscape, and retirees hating the cost of living where they are. A few privileged migrants do so for the 'love' of museums😂
It's not the woke people, it's the woke laws being forced on a majority when woke is a minute minority. Russia will not have such laws. When we go to a public bathroom, it will be MALE or FEMALE, not "gender fluid". Children in Russian elementary schools will not be forced to learn about a group of people they have no business knowing about (trans agenda). Education will focus on academics and not social justice. There are no years where multiple mass shootings take place every year, due to mental illness and family decay. THIS is the life people are seeking when running from Woke ideologies. They know they will have to adjust to a new place, language, culture and way of life, but adjusting is better than being eliminated.
I appreciate spending time with people who share my values, and yes, I think Russian history is fascinating, I have studied Russian history over the years and Russian people seem like people who just want to live their lives with family. Why wouldn’t I want to live with people who share my values?
Really good points! As you said go to something not running away from... PLUS ENGLISH to Russian is really really hard, it's not like Spanish or French or even German....I honestly don't see most American's learning Russian.
I don't think most conservatives have a problem with immigrants who come legally but don't speak English. I think the issue is when they live here for years and never learn the language
@@joelc9439 Sure, and speaking "some" of any language is incredibly easy. I speak "some" Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, French, German, and Russian. By no means am I serviceable in any of those languages.
I think the issue is that they come from a different culture and different racial background that doesn't support the values this country was built on. Some Indian doesn't understand our concept of liberty, right to defend ourselves, property rights etc etc and you let them vote. It's no wonder everything is such a mess. I'd say no voting at all for immigrants period. 3rd generation in a sane society with quality education would be acceptable. I would never expect to move to say Japan and be able to start voting on what people can, or can't do.
@@soulkeeper7796 crypto is the only way. And same here. You really need to speak the native tongue if you want a good job. If you're gonna move some place, if circumstances allow, don't do it in a rush. Learn the language first and save up a year's worth of expenses if possible. That's what I'd wanna do at least.
After living in PP Cambodia for a year; I feel being nearly 70 - that retirement here is the best deal going. Pay $300/ a year for a visa, no border runs , have the same rights as a citizen, easily get a bank account, and live with the most wonderful - kind , and polite people in the world. I figure I saved about $25,000 in rent vs what I would have paid by staying in the US. Cambodia is conservative country, and very - safe IMO.
My son said Cambodia was the best place (and people) he ever visited. And the Khmer food was great, too. He loved PP and was treated like family by the locals

Same but I have no money right now and I don't speak Russian yet so... kind of hard to distance from these new values... hopefully the air line would still be available until I put my life together....😔
@denisdenisov4036 how are you gonna work there and be part of it there if you don't know? I read that it's not that easy there without it even for a trip😅🤔
By the way, Russia graduates 10 times the engineers at the United States does and they really want smart people and have plenty of job openings at high-level jobs .
@@danielkubas8038yes, so many russian people were killed by poles. And jews (after WWII too), and ukranians... that's why poles need this propaganda, because of their crimes
I would totally be down for this. Russia is a beautiful country and personally these conditions are the very things I dislike about America and UK. As soon as this is open I will sign up.
I'm an American and I've been living in Russia since 2013. I live in Moscow, but have travelled to other parts of Russia, too. I'm happy to answer any questions
Hi! I was interviewing for a job in Moscow just before the Ukraine war and I think I wasn't accepted because I'm American. Maybe the company foresaw some visa problems. But you don't experience anything like that? Have you travelled back to the US since the Ukraine war?
@@_alexanderd July 7, 1770 Russia has won the war iniciated by Turkey. The peace agreement includes Crimea as the part of Russia. Nothing changed since then. There was no Ukraine during that time since it was Vladimir Lenin who got an idea to create Soviet Republic of Ukraina. So Crimea is still Russian according to all official historical documents.
White Christian people come to Russia, we are waiting for you, we need you 🫶🏻🇷🇺 Right now we have more jobs, than people, because our economy is booming and we have big exciting plans for the future! Like high-speed railways, developing of Arctic, our own semiconductors, developing our own film industry, pharmacy and many more! A lot of things have been done in all these spheres, but we need more!! So we need skilful people of all kinds!!! And don't worry about language so much, you will handle it, it's not so complicated as media often say. And it will open you a new big and rich white culture, which you actually didn't know much about. So consider it like an adventure, jorney and not like a burden 🙌✨️
@oliviao3686 I guess German and Russian were quite close in the ancient times because German and Slavic languages are neighbours. But I don't know German. However, as a person who learned Spanish, I found a lot of similarities between Russian and Roman languages. Also there are a lot of English speakers in Russia who managed to learn Russian, so it far from impossible. And to learn basics to start speaking some Russian is easy for sure!
I said to friends of mine the day was fast approaching when white English people would be fleeing to Russia for safety they laughed at me and thought I was insane. Since this new Labour party took charge, none of them are laughing anymore .
I dont completely agree with their policies, but I miss Russia. They are good people, just like us, but hardier and even more patriotic in spirit than Americans. My folks took me to live there for 10 years. You can hear all about it on my channel, from why we were there to how it and my parents' religions affected me.
Homes in Russia can be ridiculously cheap for a high income country "yes they're a high income country according to the IMF" , I looked up some homes in Sochi "second most expensive city in Russia after Moscow" and you can buy relatively large homes equipped with pools I kid you not, for mere 100-130k dollars, going as low as 400$ for each square meter with the average hovering around 500-700$, what's more, if you put 100k in the bank, you might be able to live off the interest rate alone without working, "the interest for open accounts from which you can withdraw or insert money freely hovers around 10%". currently that amount comes to about 800$ per month, which is a livable wage even in expensive Russian cities "if you live alone", in short, a 200k investment can get you started in Russia, even if you don't work at all, many westerners can get that amount just by selling some of their property, it's an attractive destination for many for a reason.
I don’t want to pull you out of your fantasy, but this is absolutely not true. You should prepare 3-4K US dollars per sq.m. for the cheap houses (no pools, btw) in Sochi. For any premium location/house it can be 10X more expensive. And you can't put your dollars into the banks, you have to convert it. Your thoughts are quite far from reality.
Current interest rate for open saving accounts is 16% ( for example Sberbank). So 100k in a savings account is 1350 a month. Income Tax is 15%, this leaves 1200 a month. You can live comfortably off that in Russia
@@rolandhuydecoper4090 Ok, let me tell you how it's going to go. You will exchange your dollars for rubles, because you cannot put dollars in the bank. Let's say, at the rate of 100 rubles per 1 dollar. Then, after 2-4-6 years, you will find that a dollar costs 200 rubles, so you have already lost half. On the other hand, inflation in the ruble is monstrous, because otherwise why pay 16%? From the point of view of taxes, I would say that they will soon increase and for this they have already adopted a new progressive scale, there will no longer be a flat scale, because high incomes from oil and gas ensured it. So I think you'll lose almost everything in the next 10 years.
@@rolandhuydecoper4090 yeah I’m talking about the cumulative account, it’s currently 14% for the first three months then becomes 10%, you can insert and withdraw money from it freely, so there is that.
Visited Russia this year and it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - no crime, free speech (regardless of opinion), politeness, great service, food, clean, modern systems, great culture, actual care for people . It's probably the most great place I visited in the last 10 years. isn't it a benefit that Russia has no agreements with any Western banks and it's not changing any time soon?
Except the fact that they are going broke, their population is collapsing and if you go there now you will get to be conscripted and join the meat grinder
@@AngloAm That's what we're doing. Better now than later. Second world countries still can make use of our Western skills. They won't need us anymore in 20 years.
The upside: There is way more women than men in Russia The downside: At any moment you could be conscripted to fight in a war because... There is a shortage of men in russia lol I would go live there in a second if they give a guarantee that they would not just put me in a war because i am an immigrant

Genesis 1:27-28 King James Version God created man in His own image! He created them Male and Female and He told them to be fruitful and multiply. Anything else other than this is from satan the murderer and the father of lies.
Basically the world is getting ready to massively separate because we finally will be willing to admit we all don’t like each other and this “all accepting” lie, is just that, its a lie.
The problem with Western is they are confused about the underlying meaning of everything. We are talking about countries that don't use nor have any common sense anymore for some reason they think being conservative is being controlling. I always viewed being conservative as aligning yourself with nature instead of going against it. The idea of being woke is going against everything traditional and just simply coming up with your own choices and making your own decisions which is fine everyone is entitled to it. That doesn't mean the choices and decisions you make are right though and from what I can tell western countries are becoming softer on crime, there are no consequences anymore for what people choose and decide to do even though it doesn't make any sense I mean heck you in The United States they literally allow people to have sex outside and allow women to walk in public places like a mall with a see-through outfit on. Can y'all imagine kids are still growing up in Western countries having to endure all of this foolishness and they are even calling it out for what it is and getting silenced for it.
I love much about the Russians. They have a long history and rich culture. And they are a people of traditional values. But a few things to seriously think about if your considering emigrating there. First , you'd better be able to handle long , hard winters. Learn from the Russians themselves. They know how to live through winter. And second , Russian people won't warm up to you easily. It well take time to earn their trust (and some you never will , especially older "Soviets"). But once you do melt the ice , Russians can be great friends.
It's not really trolling to be honest. We are indeed welcoming normal people. I know, our country is not the best, but trends are positives. You would not recognise modern Russia if you lived in Russia in 2000 year and especially not 90th when we were under USA.
Russia isn't trying to sell itself as all Christian. It embraces it's Muslim Russians and Jewish Russians. Conservative values are not just for Christians.
As an American, now also Italian (dual citizen), I feel the most free and safe in Russia and Serbia. I feel the least safe in the USA. I now live in Europe. I have lived in Russia and lived most of my life in the USSA.
