hi guys welcome back in today's video we take a look at the new Harder and steenbeck Evolution crplus 2024 enjoy the video here's the link for this airbrush harder-airbrush.net/?sca_ref=...
So glad to see that H&S have listened to customer feedback and nailed the trigger action! They are an industrial piece of art, beautifully made, gorgeous to look at and hold, high end, high performance, innovative brushes, the Aston Martin of airbrushes at a realisic price. So happy they have upped their game. Well done Harder & Steenbeck.
Thanks to @dredfxcustompaint I know how to fix mine (Chameleon/Infinity). I also have one of those support Ukraine Infinity brushes I am about to try. Do you think that trigger is better, or 2 micro nozzle o-rings again? Grateful for your technical knowledge, the work is lovely and irreverent. 🙏✊
The Evolution looks amazing and I've got the Squidmar one on order. I think you and The Art Workshop deserve full credit for gently pointing out that the trigger response on an otherwise superb airbrush needed tweaking! Honestly, your assessment turned the tide. As a product of Catholic school, & having a few plastic rulers broken over my hand (I never should have brought that Playboy magazine to class) the Nun art is delightful and a hoot! I can't wait to see what they do with the Infinity. Keep up the good work, great video!
That's a lovely looking airbrush Rob and I look forward to seeing it used again mate and I can see by the picture quality that you are using your new Cannon as it looks superb, as for the artwork all I can say is where is mine🤪I loved it mate👌👍
Love the way you presented the new evo as a newbie to airbrushing, about a year now and was looking for a new airbrush to do fine detailing on 40K Miniatures and terrain and still haven’t figured out witch to get the evo 2024 or the ultra 2024. I’ve got decent with an iawata HP-CS but not the ultra fine lines I’m looking for and with no needle changes for it was looking to these brushes.
The evolution is quality when it come to fine stuff definitely recommend it 👌 I will be doing some more stuff with this brush very soon thank you for the feedback much appreciated
I ordered one, but it hasn’t shipped yet, and the wait time is killing me. 😂 I hope it arrives before Christmas. My Ultra arrives tomorrow, so I’m excited to dig into that.
Thanks for your Videos! They helped me much to change after many many years from badger to H&S. I bought the Evo Cr Plus 2024 and don't regret it. Love really your humor.. this artwork is absolutely cool!! Please more of those 😂
Just received the Ultra in the last few days, now comes along the Evo... dang, and just before Christmas! Oh well. If youve started recording with the new camera the definition a sooooo much better. Get loads of inspiration from youre enthusiasm for painting. Keep them coming, Thanks
Nicely put together vid bro but got a bit of a hiss this end your new video tech I think needs a higher spec of microphone the new brush is the nutz mukka Warwick should be made up with the performance of the 2024 model it's an absolute beast of a brush
Mine will be here in a couple days.. but i only ordered the solo. I do not have any other H&S brushes here.. because of the trigger on the older ones. While ive been able to test drive them, they were not my ideal. My reservation will be the crown cap.. id prefer no crown so hopefully they make an infinity version of the new head very soon. I probably should have bought the 2 in one. But I still have reservations dropping over 200 bucks on a brush I cant touch first :) Paying 167 for the solo didnt seem bad. Maybe ill take a grinder to the pronged cap :0 Hopefully ill find it to be as responsive and awesome as they claim. my collection is getting stupid large again so I may need to do a fire sale.
Hi , thank you for keeping us updated with the new info. May I ask if its a better brush than 771 ? I am interested in buying a new detailed brush i own iwata hi line HP-BH and wanted a better choice
Great video, I've been looking at ordering one of these but wondering if you might be able to help with a query. Are you able to use larger pots, say 15ml that are available for the older Evolution model? Not sure if the thread would be the same although I see no reason as to why they'd change it.
Dang just picked up the 2024 Ultra two weeks ago and now this Evolution 2024 I assume an 2024 Infinity will also be introduced if one is then I’ll order that one.
Quick heads up for folks buying this in the UK from H&S directly, I just got slapped for £41.86 customs fees. Just worth bearing in mind, this was the squidy version (not the limited special edition) which came to about £180 at purchase. Dont know if its different with the basic version but I would bank on paying the same. 8 pound handling fee LOL, they charged me to charge me. Absolute bandits. If your getting the basic version get it from a UK distributor! Cheers.
Hi Rob! Thanks for the review. I've got an Infinity with your trigger mod (made a world of difference) but loving the look of these. Do you think its worth the upgrade if I've already done the trigger fix? Just for mini painting id that helps. Cheers 🤘
Total beginner planning to buy my first brush for miniature and model kits painting. SHould i really get the ultra 2024 instead of the evolution 2024? Feel like i would want the evo down the line anyway for the fine 0.2 and the amount of detail you described. And what about the compressor? which one would you recommend?
Hi the ultra or the evo will be brilliant for you 👍when it comes to a compressor I would recommend one with a small tank price around £150 will do you just fine Have a look at this one www.everythingairbrush.com/product/royal-max-tc-90t-twin-piston-airbrush-compressor-with-3-litre-air-receiver-and-dual-pressure-switch/ I did a review on the smaller one of these and it was great so that one will be better
I ordered the Evolution squidmar black. I think the only feature that is different is the pressure control on the brush right? Anyway con’t wait to get it it looks beautiful
Can't wait to try one of these out at my local airbrush store. So, is there new entries in their needle/nozzle lineup? You mention that this uses a 0.28 needle size? I thought they only did 0.4, 0.2 and 0.15... Would these new ones be compatible with the older Evolutions and Infinitys?
Hi Rob I know you're keen on the H+S brushes but what puts me off buying another one is my inability to get my Infinity CR2 Plus working properly. Ive had it 4 years and ive done your trigger mod to it and am still not happy with it. I can get some fairly decent results from my Iwata's but the Infinity drives me nuts as i so much want to like it and use it, but i can't! Do you think that maybe the H+S needs a more skillful operator (serious question)? Cheers Dave
I think everyone is different when it comes to brushes we all have a brand that we get along with if your comfortable with iwata stick to it They are great brushes
Speaking of sturdiness.. they just released a video on their official channel, where they run a car over their new airbrush and show how perfectly it works even after that - so no need to fear minor things like "dropping it" :D
My first H&S was an Evolution.. which I upgraded to an infinity.. Man I have to get that now.. 🤣 last time I looked they wasn't on sale yet.. Do you know when they will get released? Btw Rob.. Great picture.. LMAO!
Thanks for that Video. I hate spraypainting (until now manly with cans) because it never worked for me. But i got the chance to work with a good airbrush setup recenty. So now i am diving head first in to subject. Bought a cheap Infinity clone and watched tons of Videos. First thanks for your channel. Tons of infos one Point with a pinch of Humor - yours and the createx channel are the ones i stuck with. With my cheap gun i painted all the bits and peaces in life that neet some color, with at least for my standart, great success. Now i think i outgrowed the cheap gun and looking for a new one. So the new Versions of the H&S Line Up just arrived at a perfect time for me. Without owning one by now, i like that their parts from their models are interchangeable. What i could not find out was which new model to start with. But after watching this video of yours, i just ordered the Ultra. Even if i realise that it is not up to my task, it would be a perfect workhorse, or could be sold with low loses. Again thanks a lot. For that Art: It instandly reminds me of a banned comercial for a soft drink here in germany; Something with nuns and sins. Theire are two cuts, both in this video if you wanna Check. Hi I have an original infinity crplus on a 0.15mm which is brilliant but now the new Harder and steenbeck airbrushes are being released the evolution 2024 Has a better trigger top than the older airbrush better response in the trigger and the 0.28 mm set up is perfect for the fine stuff 👌 So I think it's a better brush than the original infinity
I was going to replace my cheap airbrush with squidmars. But too expensive I think just now. Saw the old and hearing about the trigger and was curious of s.m one. If there was different. And now this cheaper one looks and seems the one for me. Must get hold of one. Rob a bank maybe ?,., nun is on fire =======//
Received mine on Monday. After spending a couple of days with it I have to say that I am disappointed with it. The Eclipse and the PS 270 are more user friendly for me. It is early days and still trying to find the sweet spot.
I bet it was nice to actually have an Airbrush inside the box when you opened it!!! never mind, next time i meet you i'll try to have something in the box. Thanks for the comments, you have no idea the time that was put into the trigger, see you in hell!
Won’t be watching anymore of your vids mate. There’s a billion +1 other things to paint and you chose that? Did you think it funny? As you say “Going Down There” ain’t no joke.
