The comfort and aura of the cave is nothing short of magical. Truly one of the most unique channels on youtube that actually captures the spirit from a time we so painfully desire to return to. Well, I just spent 45 minutes or so crying in the comment section. The love I see here is tremendous! I've subscribed to the channels you mentioned. I only have a few more to go subscribe to. The ones I've seen so far are absolutely fantastic! I enjoy them all! Having said that, your channel is fantastic too! It's a variety show and it's unique. Something for everyone. So ya know, I feel one of my enormous comments brewing. Each channel has something unique about it. You are open to sharing not just the 80's but all of life. That's excellent for the longevity of the channel. When a subject takes a back seat for whatever reason, there's always something to talk about. Maybe 80's related maybe not. Maybe it's the vlog, a Knupp all night or a rant, or an office life/update. All of your wrestling content is well liked, cooking segments, I love those. There's no doubt you have helped all of us through any number of off color days. You've mentioned it's helped you as well. I don't understand the in's and out's of the financial impact RU-vid has but I do appreciate a kind person who thinks of others. You go the extra mile where that's concerned! Your questions segment is awesome and has helped me a great deal! I've got a wild and crazy life and at the end of the day, I need peace, fun, humor and a blast of nostalgia here and there. I find that and then some with your content as well as the new channels I've added. I see in the comments, you've been a lifeline for many. Let us be there/here for you. I do understand the need to take care of your mental health, physical health, family, work and other important aspects of life. There's no doubt you should spend as much time as you need taking care of those things. I'm thinking back to the times you've said, making videos is also therapeutic for you. When you start each day, if an idea pops into your head and you feel like making and posting a video, post away! No matter what the subject is. Then, if nothing strikes your fancy for a few days, that's ok. Just a thought but maybe having a line up is too rigid? Liberate the line up! Let your spontaneous inner voice take over! It seems like something has sucked the fun out of it for you? I may be wrong, it might be something else or a combination of things? You've poured your heart and soul into your channel. Lets talk it out, at the office, after work! The people who spew hate, discontent and chaos need therapy too but if they don't know how or learn how to play nicely they can get the boot. The look in your eyes breaks my heart. If you want to retire from RU-vid, I'll respect that. That's not the feeling I get though. As much as that's possible by watching and listening to a video made thousands of miles away. A quick memory before I bring it in for a landing. I remember how one of your subscribers attacked one of my comments, thinking I was being mean. That person was prepared to defend you, right quick and that speaks volumes! I know others have done the same thing and that's them showing you they love you. I'm going to go ahead and say this, I promise I'm not being all weird. I love you and your channel. You are an honorary brother. Ok, one final, final thing. When I was a kid I always wanted a brother. So, TAG you're it! Now that we're family, I'll need you to stay in touch.
After following this channel for at least five years, I am very sorry to hear this. It has provided not only a lot of entertainment but in some ways has helped keep the kid inside me alive. I even dusted off the old toys and video games my parents kept and now display them. I hope you don't take down the channel as I'll be looking forward to rewatching many of these videos again. Absolutely love your content. I found you back in 2018/2019 when i still owned my lawn care business. I would listen to your galoob videos for 7 hours a day while i mowed. I fell off for a year or so with all of RU-vid, then came back during covid for the 80s items you were chasing. Then again after covid while studying for my state exam for mortgage loan officer license during a 4 month period. Knup All Nights are/were the highlights of my week. The recent glimpses into your work life have been awesome. Ive had many chapters of changing life since finding your channel like 7 years ago. I had another kid since first discovering you. I feel like you've had different chapters along with me. I wish you and your family the best. I completely understand the tug of war between your passions and real life. This is almost as hard as saying goodbye to the actual decade of the '80s, but I completely understand. Just to say it one last time, this channel has been such a help and a blessing to me. I watch a lot of content, but I rarely comment anywhere else, as leaving a seemingly innocent comment on other channels can get you into a fierce argument out of nowhere, but not here. Sad to see you go man, I've fallen off for quite awhile posting, usually in longwinded form but I've been watching for quite awhile. I've enjoyed your stuff for a decent amount of time, I think I really started posting around when you were getting into the Pee Wee collection, but it was the LJN stuff that brought me to the dance for sure. You've supplied a lot of great content, quite a bit of which I'll probably rewatch a bunch of stuff if you are planning on keeping the actual archive online. The old school WWF footage reviews are probably what I'll miss mostly!! Anyways man, go live life and hopefully you'll pop up somehow down the road!!

Oh no Jason, I feel like I’am in 5th grade again in 1983 and it’s the last day of school for summer break and I can’t see my friend until schools back in. Your content inspired me to crest my 80s room. I started watching about 7 or 8 years ago and listened to you mad me feel like I was 11 years old again back in the 80s. I am hoping maybe you come back around Halloween or around October, because I remember a video you made about “Fun starting for a kid in October due to the holidays coming up. I totally understand. I use to make videos nonstop years back. Now I just watch. I lost interest in making videos and RU-vid changed so much. Jason. One thing I want ya to know before you shut down. I don't know that you actually realize how many members you have that look forward to seeing your videos everyday or so. I know personally I will tell you that thru a pretty low time in my life your videos are what got me thru it. Just how much I relate to you and my childhood to yours when I watch you it takes me back to a time when I was happy and life and times were so different. I don't think anyone will ever grow up in a time as good as we did again. I'm not trying to make you feel guilty and like you have to keep going for anyone else but I just wanted you to know this because I don't know that you really realize how much of a purpose your channel and your videos really do have. I know everyday when I look at my notifications the first thing I look for is a new video from you brother. If you really do go I will really be bummed but I get you have to do what's best for you.
Jason is the only RU-vid star I care about. Like many, I've been watching for years, and he feels like family in many ways to a lot of people. I actually think he's evolved the channel more than he gives himself credit for. The "Knupp All Night" type of content has nothing to do with the toys in his cave. Even if he has shown us all of that stuff, just being on camera and talking about his day is awesome. I'm a big enough fan to have observed that Jason is a very emotion-based dude. If things are off in his life, it impacts the channel because he's just not in the mood to do it. That mindset and mood can swing from one side all the way to the other. His video with Colin from Canada a few weeks ago did not look like a man who wanted to pack up and retire. And I believe -- I hope - he will return when his mood is right and he's feeling it. Or, I could be a complete idiot and don't have the slightest idea what makes our guy Jason tick. All I know is that this is the best channel on RU-vid, Jason is the best personality, and he needs us as much as we need him. Just like a family.

I would retire too if I was getting the low views for the amount of work you were putting in. Oh wait, I did. My advice would be this: There are many many niche platforms where you can go a lot further with niche content than here on RU-vid. If you don;t fit the idea of who and what RU-vid wants to promote, you'll fail. RU-vid has no interest in promoting action figure nostalgia. It doesn't fit their narrative or their mindset/ Cheers.
