Alpinestars SR10 vs AGV Pista
If you have been living under a rock and have not heard yet…Alpinestars is releasing their FIRST road race helmet ever! YES it is the same Alpinestars that makes all other pieces of motorcycle gear from gloves, jackets, riding pants, and boots! In this video I share some details on this new incredible looking helmet and share my thoughts on whether it is going to dethrone the KING....the AGV Pista!

Am gonna try one when my shoei gets replaced. Also got a Bell race star flex and it fits perfect.

@@SK_XIII at first it felt very tight as the flex liner needs to adapt to your head shape. After that it fits perfect. Protint visor is very cool. Quality is good but not as good as my shoei one! That is one minor downside. Visor swap is very fast you can change one in a matter of seconds. I got the tantrum 2 graphic. Ventilation is excellent, best one I ever had.

I was debating this or the agv gprr, i ended up getting the gprr oro because it looks so good. Sr10 is nice but every helmet collector needs a gprr in their collection

how soon we forget... Ppl only rock the Pista cuz it was valentino Rossi's helmet. Not cuz it was actually a good street helmet. i do wanna see this Alpinestar helmet since the rest of their stuff is good...

I have had a AGV a Shoei and Bell race star and personally didn’t care for the AGV loved my Shoei and my Bell Race Star the best. Just bought the Alpinestar sr10 teams model and can’t wait to see how it holds up.

Pista is over priced and loud. Rubber plugs for vents ? And it isn't light either. So many other options with better value for money. Let's see what the A⭐ costs and when it's available.

I got the Astars r10 instead of the Pista for this reason and the speaker pockets. Miles better than the pista for street and just as FIM approved! Still got an AGV K5 from a few years ago but damn Astars didn't disappoint at all!

@@Bad.S1KI dont understand everyone complaining about noise, no matter which helmet you use you should always use plugs even if you think its quiet, over the years you WILL lose some hearing without plugs

Sorry but definitely not a pista rr killer. Both are built so different and i have both models. The pista is pure race where as the r10 is built for street and track. On track i prefer my pista and on street i prefer r10

Completely on point. They are different and I truly believe and know the Pista hasnt only proved its worth, but seems a bit of overkill for the road. I believe the focus of the SR10 is to fill in the gap that the pista has on the road. But by no means will the SR10 be better on the track vs a Pista ... But equivalent is still within the question and if the price point ive been quoted with is accurate, the SR10 will be the king of the ROAD helmets, but the Pista just has much more development and prestige on the track than any other helmet out there and its price is part of the prestige nature...

A lot of people that don't like the pista got it to follow the trend. I got a pista and It really is a beast of a helmet but I do not enjoy a lot of things about it on the street

the agv pista is dogwater, Shoei X14/Arai Corsair X are >>>>>>>>> so much better not even funny. The SR10 by alpinestars is based on the Bell Race Star, not going to be a great helmet.

It does really remind me of the Bell haha. The Shoei X15 is hard to resist!! Arai doesn't fit me as well...so likely end up going with Shoei
