This light is very expensive for the Low output unless on bigger sets, it does not replace an arri M18 . The aputure ls 600c rbg light is more appealing to most and offers plenty

I just wanted to correct one thing. The orbiter is more comparable to HMI 800 Joker brightest wise. It's not as bright as many people claim.

The orbiter is 400w, apparently equivalent to a 575w hmi in output

What I've been told is it's more like a joker 400.

@@BenjaminCarroll I think it needed to be joker 800 equivalent to really make a splash. Once you punch it through two layers of diffusion it's not going to be very bright... a skypanel through a single layer of diffusion might provide just as much light

Soooooo. The comparison with the 300d is probably correct. Besides the rgb aspect. The orbiter is suppose to hit a out a joker 400 level in brightness, and the 300d mkii is about equivalent to that. With the various attachments available even more so. I've also been told thr pricing is going to be between 8k and 10k.

Where did you hear that about the pricing? Newsshooter quoted about $7k

@@cagf2013 Dealers. I work at a rental house and have already began inquiries and reservations for it. The pricing isn't final so I haven't gotten a solid answer yet.
