BMW M makes a fantastic product. I would now love to see this exact same vehicle be designed in a fully electric design to compete with the likes of the Tesla Model S P100D.
People dished on Bangle for that design, but honestly look at the 7 series and 5 series from the era; they still look pretty good and futuristic( that was their aim). On the other hand look at Mercedes from early 00s, its ugly af compared to newer models.
Well there is in fact a lot that is new within this iteration. Reworked suspension and new infotainment system aside, it looks like a completely different car from some angles IMO.
Would love to see an F91 M5 Touring come into production. Then I would for sure buy over RS6. Numbers and looks of the F90 are great but I miss the touring chassis on an M car.
Who the hell buys touring cars for sports performances? Even the touring looks are terrible, long ass back ruins the perfection of the car, so only reason to buy it is if you have a need for space, but in that case you dont go for a damn 120.000 $$$ machine lol. On the other hand comparing Audi to BMW is ridiculous, you dont compare funky volkswagens to king of kings. ✌️
@@EvilForces I have an E61 M5 Touring and I think it looks great but what's even better it's quite the sleeper and even though it's now 13 years old you still can annoy supercars with it ... and it sounds better than most of them.

I’ll say it a million times, there will never be something like the E60 M5 and the E92 M3, never, do whatever you want BMW, exaggerated designs and modern interiors will never replace those engines 🤷♂️

You live in a fantasy world where you have no idea what you're talking about from a practical POV. In reality the E60 was seriously flawed, the engine might have been glorious when it worked, but it was inefficient and unrealiable. The Bangle era design was also challenging to look at, the SMG gearbox was a liability. The E92 M3 was great, but again, the ngine doesn't fit with the modern era of emissions and efficiency standards. If you want an E60 or E92, go buy one, don;t expect a car manufacturer not to elvolve and modernise ain accordance with legislation and technology. In other words you can say it a million times all you like, but it's time to grow up.
The e60 is terrible and amazing all at once. SMG? trash! Engine ? knocks like a Jehovah whiteness every 15k miles. Sound? AMAZING. power? oh yes. Really the e39 was the best m5 made...
F10 is my favorite. Herr Flasch, what happened to the BMW trademark modern angel eye led bar, which looked best in the business? These L-shape bars look very, dare I say, VAG.
The f10 really is a forgettable generation. What is special about it? Nothing. It's a very good car, but no better than it's premium rivals. The F90 is exquisite and better than it's rivals.
stubones The F10 is overlooked as hell. Everyone gets a hard on for the E60 but goes soft once they see those maintenance bills. The E39 is a GOAT understandably and the F90, albeit is the best obviously as it’s the newest, definitely doesn’t have the styling of the F10. To say it’s “forgettable” is a bit ignorant.
The Best sport sedan ever made. I have owned the e34 and e39 m5's . Now I have the f10 m5 . Keep up the awesome videos and hats off to Mr Flasch for bringing the m5 back to the forefront of German engineering.
My eyes keep gazing at the E39 at every chance they get, through out this video. Nonetheless, the F90 looks fab, but still nowhere near the E39 in looks.. the e39 is an automotive perfection ❤️
Anyone else feels like the F10 was the best at being an M5? The new one doesn’t have the same elegance, it shows that it is a performance car very easily. I don’t know , maybe I am biased because I own an F10
Im sorry man. E39 or e28 are best m5s....e60 is a close contender. F10 is fat and numb by comparison. Sounds like a muted trumpet too. F10 chassis is just a bad basis for an m car. Its only saving grace is that it was fast for the time. (0-60 in 4 secs) It still struggled to put power down. F90 is better than F10 simply because it offers more in performance metrics but is still numb compared to an e60 or e39. That being said, F90s ride way too stiffly. M lost its ability to make captivating cars when eps and efficiency became BMW's directive.
It remains unmatched. My father still has the e34 M5 1991 model, Love it, even the f10 and e60 remains my favourites amongst m5 production. The F90 is what I would like to call "The Godfather"😭😭🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Goood you got the entire line up. Please look at the car at your left and then at the back. To me they are the most stunning m5 designs EVER. Ya must take design cues from them. SIMPLE LIVING AND A PURE HEART.
Same. The pre-facelift looks much more aggressive and sporty in my opinion. I do not like this more flat rear and front. And the air intakes look very tame compared to previous comp pack m5.
That E34 is perfection. Glorious straight six with individual throttle bodies, RWD, manual 'box and an LSD. You just don't need much more than that. Modern ///M cars are waay too "look at me" for my liking, though I respect the engineering. A wolf in a sheeps clothing is the coolest car.
Haha you sir, are asking for a serious debate with that comment. I personally agree with you because that V10 is an engine after my own heart and personally i can overlook its ling list of common faults and failures. BUT. E39 M5 bro, that 4.9 V8 sound. those timeless looks, manual tranny offered globally, its a serious match up of two M cars.
Loving the look of this new M5, good job M team!!! f10 M5 is still my fave looking from the exterior but I need to to get up close and personal with this new one!
i came from watching a review from the new BMW M5. hooooly this hit different. the f90 was such a nice car in comparison, no hybrid drive train BEAUTIFUL design, half a ton less. jesus they really went south on the m5 :(
