hitch was always strong with scorch. it is just that hitch required you to use normal attack or special to apply it meaning that smoldering ring was only reliable source of scorch. I don't know why but smolder ring this patch feels pretty bad. No clue if tick rate for scorch changed but the ring barely applies any scorch now.

@@dodang_9147 hmm, I don't think the tick rate changed but the damage rate got buffed, maybe it just applies less now?

@@thehibib i don't know but the smolder ring cast feels bad to use now. on a side note, does air quality improve scorch anymore? with 80 damage scorch, what is raw value of damage for debuff now?

@@dodang_9147 it does improve it but not as much. If I remember correctly before with 40 damage scorch it ticked every 0.25 seconds so 10 damage would get buffed to 30 from air quality. Now it's from 20 to 30 so not as good

​@@dodang_9147it's not that smolder ring started applying less scorch, it's the fact that scorch now deals more dmg/s, exhausting itself faster and before the buffs, scorch dealt 5 damage every .125s to equate to 40 dmg/s, now it's doubled, so that's 10 dmg per tick, meaning, air quality triples this dmg, now

You should try cleaning the grill with an oiled up halved onion. I don't like using wire brushes since the cheap ones sometimes have bristles fall out and stick to the grill, and it sucks getting stuck in the mouth with one. Plus you get a little residual onion flavor for a meal or two!

​@@joshuaanderson6492 definitely agree about brush type. I have one that's a thicker wire coiled up like a spring and held in a weird shape that can get between the grates. It's cleaner, more effective, and won't shed bristles. They aren't expensive either, less than 20$, and they last for many years.

i feel like all mana boons are kinda crap now because Unseen arcana card is better than all of them. it used to cost 5+5 points to use unseen and Celene's hexes. now it just cost 5 and you get both.. I have been running health on area(though time-stop should be used IF you put fear with 0 healing on), 40 health+40 max mana, Death defiance, and both reroll arcana's. It seems like new meta arcana deck. You get divination for epic's by running 3rd row with origination filled. I also run that huntress boon where you gain 50% damage if max < 100%. This seems like new meta arcana deck that much better than rest. The only thing i wish i could change was guardian arcana card where you don't get hit for first 3 hits for Artificer, but 3 hit negative is so overpowered in fear 32 that it is hard to not use because it is like effective 100 extra hp for every guardian fight. It is like too good to unequipped sadly.

@@dodang_9147 all mana boons are crap? The fuck? Born gain is still good, the new ionic gain is fantastic. Spirit bubble also was always good, still is. Lucid gain is great too. Because the arcana card got buffed doesnt make mana boons worse, since they dont exclude each other... why not both lel

@@Crowbar ionic gain is born gain 2.0. gives near infinity mana. I think early mana boons are borderline throw away boon. Mana doesn't have as much of an impact as before because of fear change that makes you start with 50% mana and unseen arcana card. You don't really need mana as much anymore. Mana boon is more luxury pick now.

​@@dodang_9147idk, I'd say unseen is more usable now but I still think there are better cards to choose from, not to mention that this regen isn't enough in builds that use magick too fast if you *really* want to activate The Moon, you could instead use Night and/or Death, but none of that matters if the game doesn't even offer you enough Selene, if at all magick boons are quite diverse now, being useful in different scenarios and even unlocking other useful boons, and while it does mean you're not choosing something dmg oriented, it's not uncommon to reach situations in which you have so many already that more boons don't even matter, so that magick boon generally isn't a wasted reward

It's often weaker than Artemis' other offerings (crits are extremely strong).

they just need to change the word from sacrafice to "gain boons == to number of boon from Zeus/Hera". this is also ONLY boon that has negative that actively detriment the player into losing nodes. There are other boon that have negatives like +10 mana cost but this one removing your entire boon is kinda ridiculous. The drawback of the boon is what makes it useless. Hera has similar thing with Family trade and Hestia has one for burnt offering but it is only one boon and it can be a useless one. the duo actively destroy your build.

@@dodang_9147 at the very least it should replace a core boon like attack, special, cast with the Hera equivalent. Still I think that’s probably too damaging except for rare circumstances. As you agreed it can offline your whole build. Duos with other gods deactivate, possibly lose origination. Also increasing levels of boons have diminishing returns as well. The flavor is funny the gameplay aspect is just bad.
