Thanks for the video, David. To be honest, I have always been kind of wishy washy about the CCIE, but I have to admit that this is making me rethink a few things.

I love the Cisco REV UP program. Have my CCNP (ent-core and advnanced implementing). My CCNP I started in 2011 after a CCNA in 2008, is now paid for with learning credits. I would rather take a new class than be tested on things I already know.

Thanks for this David. One thing I am trying to understand is what happens to my current CCNP. If I renew my CCNA, CCDA, CCNP and CCDP now with a CCNP Route exam for example, then what is my certification holding as of February next year? Will one similar level exam always renew the others and below as like before?

Interesting that there were no mentions of Cisco's CCAr & CCT. Note: if you mention 1 you have 2 mention the other.

Hi David, base from your discussion: If a candidate has an actvie ccnp cert and will expire let say jan 2021..If he take ccnp tshot 300-135 this jan 2020, it will not renew his eligibilty to take ccie lab until jan 2023? Only switch or route can renew the encore?

question now if I do ccnp encor cause I go straight for the CCIE lab or I have to do CCIE encor and CCIE lab since I do see on the site the encor exam is the same code 350-401

there's no CCIE Encor vs CCNP Encor... Encor 350-401 is just one exam that's for both NP/IE

hey Dear Mr. Bombal, so now what happens if I have studied CCNA 200-125 but I didn't do the exam yet? do these exams exist anymore ?? and if not then what is your advice?

You can take the exams until the February 2020 cut off date. So you still have time.

yahh keep working on working yourself out that’s automation… don’t be surprised getting your wage lower and find out why is getting harder… but nice skill to have 😅
