I've gpt the v1 performance eddition, the neon green one, and love it! I just got the analog one, but since buying it I've put walksnail on a couple of my 5" quads and love the clarity of digital. It'll probably get the new walksnail v2 night cam/vtx. I'm really impressed with the video recorded from the 03au though. I did walksnail because I already had sky04x goggles, but I really like that 03. Great video as always. Take care.

Great video Captain, I just got my Cinelog35 v2 delivered to me and I love how it flies, it's amazing, thanks to your wonderful review. On another note, I wondered why my other cinewhoop the Veyron35 was loud, and this was so quiet, until I tried the Cinelog35 HQProps on my Veyron35, and boy I love how it flies now, so smooth. Do you have any other props you would recommend? Thanks for all you do, your videos helped me navigate the hobby from flying camera drones to FPV drones😊🙏

I have tried all types of props over the years and most are simply noisy on FPV Drones... you get used to it. Some will claim to be less noisy... but it is still noise & you'll never get stealth performance.

That's a cool drone i might have to pick one up! It's like the Avata but less delicate and locked down i feel like.. I have a DJI FPV if i want to zip around in sport mode using a DJI drone, but i usually don't use that drone for M mode and things like this. It's just better as a fast fpv drone to explore places and fly thru cool areas, in my opinion.. I feel like i made a mistake by buying an 03 air unit kit separately, only because all these drones come BNF already with the O3 Air Unit and with the included cost of that lol.. I wish they made the analog version alittle easier to just convert to the HD versions', sometimes different FC's seemed to be used.. One question i have that i figured you might know, can the DJI O3 Air Unit transmit audio to the FPV Goggles like the V2's with the headphone jack? For example, like when you use the V2's with the DJI FPV Drone with headphones. Plus as well as recording the video w. audio & OSD info, from the DJI FPV Goggles V2 DVR's videos.. I would really miss that feature honestly lol. I know a lot of people don't use it, or have never used it. However it just adds to the overall experience in my opinion, its like truly being inside the drone and flying it through FPV lol.. I like to be able to hear the motors, generally what's going on, and how everything sounds.

Look fly very similar as my Cinebot30, with 1300mah 6s battery. Those movements with the DJI remote 2 as a little more aggressive on Actuel configuration. When I switch to tbs receiver is automatically change to Betaflight rates. Is more comfortable and smooth 😊

thanks CaptD ! ...so to achieve ducted fan efficiency you need your prop tips very close to the solid duct like 0.5mm to block tip-vortex formation - and the duct needs to have a full smooth bell mouth intake and wall, tapered exit too. Seems GepRC aerodynamics are using random street voodoo wtf? They have cut holes in the duct to 'reduce noise' - haha worse idea - whilst using the noisiest blunt tip props (annoying the public to hate drones more) with the greatest tip vortex/drag you could possibly generate - yuk. Let's face it these are bumper bars and not ducts. I'll be fitting tapered props to mine ffs for less noise, less drag and longer flight times.

It's a great drone but the four bolts which hold down the dampened camera plate are made of a very brittle aluminium and after each light crash, some ofthe bolts get sheared off. I ended up replacing them with titanium bolts and so far, so good.

Hi Cap, sorry I have been out for a while I lost my father in November and my spirit have been really down but I am back and have a lot to catch upon. I still don't like FPV drones but I love the footage of the flooding that you showed. I have never experienced snow personally but seeing what can happen after it thaws is eye opening I only know flooding from excess rain lol dwl. Great video! Quick question. I ordered the tbm crossfire but want to start out with the DJI goggles and controller and upgrade controller later. Can I still use my DJI controller even though I didn’t order the pnp version? Also can you still takeoff if you ordered without gps?

I have managed to fly 6 minutes on 1200mAh Tattu v5.0 without camera (my model is HD Vista). Just after that I have tested Cinebot30 HD Vista with the same battery - reasult: 9 minutes.

What modes were you flying here? Did you use the stock rates? I bought one as well and my first flight I punched it right into the ground, broken guard only. My fault, I need more sim time and to setup my controller for Angle and Horizon mode while I get used to it.

You may need to watch videos on BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR as there are thousands of things you can setup. These are not FLY OUT OF THE BOX BEGINNER DRONES.... setup and config is required.

Thanks for the video review! I see you have a GPS module on the back of the drone. Does it work like the regular Avata or DJI FVP drone that if you loose signal, the drone will return? I am in the process of learning about built FPV drones.

In the FPV hobby and GPS module is called "GPS RESCUE". The more modern the module, then the more modern it may be for return to home. So when you fly and the drone goes into FAIL SAFE MODE (in simple terms that means your transmitter has disconnect from the receiver), it hands over the flight function to the GPS which does one of two things.... it either flies the drone back in your direction and then orbits over you, or it flies back in your direction and comes in for a landing. FPV drones are very powerful and dangerous so most pilots have opted for the drone to orbit above vice coming down and injuring someone since there are no bottom sensors or avoidance.

Normally you only tilt a camera on an FPV drone if you fly very slow and hover, otherwise you tilt the camera in flight simply by lifting the nose up or down. Watch any of my RC Plane chase videos and although the plane is moving up and down and side to side, I fly the FPV drone and lock the camera onto the plane simply by flying in that manner.

On the website of GEORC there are few options and I’m not sure which one is the best for me. I am looking to connect it to DJI FPV controller 2 and DJI Goggles Integra. I want the 25 V2 03 and planned to use it with the DJI goggles 2 and possibly the dji controller 2 as I could use it with the avata, also. The other option is crossfire. Also wondering if gps is necessary when 03 had GPS, also. Honestly not of fan of dji and all the damn permissions. Looking for opinions.

If a GoPro mount was included with the drone, then it is as simple as either screwing it direct to the body with the provided screws, or removing a top plate and placing the mount in its place.

Nice ! a friend of mine messed up the settings and I reloaded the CLI files. Is there a better way to get everything back to factory setting or setting that will get it to fly better? on the Cinelog 35 v2 the orientation and everything looks normal in beta flight but when I arm to takeoff instead of gradual power it just goes straight to almost full power and is a screamer when I hover. Thanks for your help.

Factory settings are only possible by loading the DUMP file. Check the website for one.

Can you adjust the camera angle tilt on the Cinelog 35 v2? It looks like the O3 camera is held on by two screw on each side, and therefore the angle is non-adjustable?

Is this a better drone than Avata for real estate? I'm pretty good at flying the avata outdoors in manual mode, but indoors i cant, it always makes a lot of turbulence and goes straight to a wall. It's only me? So i'm trying to look for alternatives that have a similar or better performance outdoors and also can do real estate indoors. Thanks a lot for your content!

Nope. You only bind once. But, keep in mind, you can only BIND to one radio at anyone time, so you fly one drone, land, then power it off, power on the next drone, and it is already bound ready to go.

Currency is always in US dollars. For a battery, you simply look at what I used in my demo and then buy no less than three similar batteries.

You can use any radio you wish, as long as it can talk to whatever receiver is in the drone.

Yes, same camera but the beginner features have been removed.

You get the one with NO RECEIVER... it is usually listed as PNP.

I have this quad, and unfortunately, with a GoPro on it, it shakes like crazy out of the box. What sort of PID tune would you recommend for it?

When it comes to adding too much weight to a drone throwing off the balance there is no turning that will fix it to perfection without affecting other problems. A smaller size camera would be the best option. Today, drones that have the DJI O3 system are tuned to run without an external camera as there is no longer a need for one.

Steve I see that you are flying in Air mode. What does that mean for the DJI 03 unit

Air mode is what DJI calls manual mode and what FPV pilots call enhanced Acro mode. It has no effect on the DJI unit.

Regardless of the price difference, how does this compare to DJI Avata? I am a newbie and could care less about videography. Just want to explore around, so I guess the flight time means more than anything else to me. I notice the flight time on Avata is much longer than this with the recommended battery. Can I add a much bigger battery on Cinelog 35 if I give up the maneuverability a bit?

I tell everyone who flies DJI MAVICS or DJI MINIs that if they wish to get into FPV get the DJI AVATA because it is a DJI MAVIC with the ability to give some FPV flying.

@@neilw8221 For newbies to FPV that can afford the Avata, yes without a doubt. For people who are in the FPV hobby and have some skills, then the Cinelog 35 V2 is preferred.

Sorry, there is no such thing as NORMAL and SPORT modes on an FPV drone. Those are items that DJI created for their line of drones.

hi captain. I have watched your videos well. I am interested in this drone. but I am wondering the durability of geprc cinelog series(actually I also have a cinelog25), since I saw a several videos about its crash( it was broken by even weak crash). so if you compare it with foxwhoop25 on durability,(they are even different), could you tell me about it? thank you captain.

That is a question I can’t answer. You see all FPV drones are made to survive a crash. Usually new pilots to FPV will break a drone because they fly at high speed into the ground. I can’t recall the last time I broke an FPV drone as they all survive my crashes so I can’t tell you which one is Stronger.
