Thank you for this tutorial, it was well done, easy to understand. I had the timer in my hand while watching and set it along with the video playing. I like the ability to program the timer more than once and to separate the week days from the weekend. This was a huge help, the manual is not easy to follow, this video is great, my plumber set it at random, it is clear he did not know how versatile this timer is and I will provide them the feedback.

Great explanation! But I had to reset the thing 3 times. If the explanation of a function went too long, my timer would reverse to the date and time setting and I would not know how to get back to what step we were in the process. Very frustrating. But thank you so very much for taking the time to take us thru step by step... Finally, I think I've mastered it.

Is there protective film on the timer display. How do I remove that?

"Legacy Function" (random and sunrise/sunset) = a function that was left in the device because Grundfos just repurposed a timer designed to turn lights on and off for use with their pumps. See the Woods Model # 50029WD for the same item in white (without battery backup) or the Intermatic Model # DT121K for same without battery or grounded plug. The buttons and screen are a dead giveaway. However, I'm not saying to use those as alternatives for this, as they may not have made changes to accommodate the inductive load of a motor (vs lamps); I'm just saying this is why the "legacy functions" are there in the programming interface.

Thanks for the detailed info for the digital comfort system timer as I always wondered if I should be using the RDM mode, which now I will not use. I have everything else set on the timer! I could not find a dealer or get a response from Grondos..Thanks and I have subscribed to your company. Great job on the video! How much power does this timer consume?

Can I program the timer when its already plugged in to pump

Can you use this timer and just plug in my Watts circ pump (set to always on)? My Watts unit seems to always gain or lose time.......not to mention daylight savings headaches

These are fine for a light or pump, but Viosun makes a much better timer, 20 on/off cycles vs. 7 on this unit.

Can I set it to where it comes on every 30-minutes for 2-Minutes (repeat infinity)! That will keep my water always warm! I would like the ability to adjust the run time and the Off time as weather and such Change!

Read the instructions 10 times and still couldn't program this unit, watched the video one time and had it programmed in 5 minutes

This new timer is way over engineered and ridiculous , which working plumber has got time to attempt setting this timer ( needs to be charged for 30 minutes,... if you pause while setting for longer than 30 seconds everything that you have done gets wiped out) comes with 4 page intricate but vague instructions with daylight saving time, leap years etc etc etc . Every plumber that I know has pulled his hair out and thrown these against the wall in frustration. Re design this timer easy to use for busy workers not techies who have all day to set a timer.

This timer is a ridiculous waste of time. Try and follow these instructions and you will see what I mean. Terrible timer for a great pump.

This timer is a monumental waste of time, please go back to the old timer. Don’t change something if it already works just to maintain your job.
