Good choice mate. Top 3 ecu in my opinion. motec, emtron and maxx ecu.

Does it come with fuel injectors or are those bought separate? Which kit didn’t go with) I wonder if guys who have historically tuned the n54 like doc vu etc can tune these or if it’s a totally different skill set to tune them?

How much is a n54 maxx ecu plus install cost estimate?

Yo dujo, blew my seals so it looks like it's time to go big single. there's a guy in my area sealing a top mounted garrett 6262 with a bunch of other bits (including maxx ecu) for a very tantalizing price all in. I would like to learn more about how you guys integrate the maxx ecu and about how the DI delete, and HPFP delete works. looking forward to the series!!

Do you lose any stock functions with the standalone and are you able to pass obd2 inspection?

You wont be able to pass inspection in a bunch of different states unless you do something to spoof the stock ECU. I've always just hung on to my stock ECU and plugged that in just for inspection but some of these standalone units allow you to copy the stock ECU rom and flip to the stock map with a switch or button code.
