Pintabian are still quick. Just wear your best tack and know your short cuts and your fine! I clearly suggest that Any horse could win if you are a skilled shortcut rider!

Great video Lauren! This video matches my findings pretty accurately, with the Fjord and Morgan being extremely close and the icey a few hundreds behind. Thank you for explaining the stuff at the end too, when the results are this close you can’t say for sure since even the tiniest differences can change the outcome!
Great vid! I'd like to add that Gen 2 Shires are also actually excellent race horses. I used to race on them years ago when the Gen 2 Quarter Models were the Kings of Racing and have also used them against Pintabians when they were fastest and have won. If you can learn to manage their size, they're fantastic, I'd recommend them too!
Seriously though, I got harassed a bit by a few players for saying it really didn't change as much as there were other options to choose from. Kept being told I was "Ignorant" and had no idea how much "Damage" sso did to the entire community.

Im so exited! The fastest horses in the game now are the fjord gen 1 and etb But Of you know all the short and well knowing the champs you can win with every horse

Not me racing with literally any horse and winning still- I guess all the hours of practicing payed off. Still bummed they changed the jump though. It was a nice horse and I got 2 of them (both for racing) these past few days (since Wednesday) I’ve won around 15 champs and got top 3 multiple times as well with, the Jorvik fresian, a paso fino (most of the wins) and some lower level horses I do get top 3 with with shortcuts. If you train and practice you can become a great racer! You don’t need a fast jump to be great, it just helps! Hope this motivates you to practice, try your best, and have fun! By the way I am level 21 and over halfway to level 22- Happy Racing!
Awesome! I prefer the morgans to the others anyway so I don't mind that their the best. also don't forget all the gen 3s and the other breeds they're all great and each of them have their own talents
There is a possibility, but they do lack some of the strength stat that is needed for it to be identical, and I believe they can not do a fast start either, because of being a gen 1. Feel free to try and test them out though :D

I just bought a old Haflinger two days ago and a gen 1,5 Morgan. So I bought the wrong gen xD I’m going to train the old Haflinger up and see how he will do. He looks pretty fast so far.
@@skuogmo Connemara Ponies are a pony breed and therefore can compete in the pony champ and race. They look a little big I know, but per classification and also name they're still ponies

So I bought a pintabian for 969sc 2 days before the price drop to do champs, didn’t use it a lot and now they’re not even the fastest 😂 R.I.P my Star Coins that could’ve been used for a better horse
@@Chosenonetco I believe now they’re 485sc, but before that they were 969sc because sso always drops the price of horses when the next generation of that breed comes out

do the other gen 1 horses (andalusian, arabian etc) are the same as the fjord or is it like the pintabian/ arabian thing that the fjord has faster animations?
Some of the gen 1 horses have slightly glitchy jumps, so I think some are slower than others. But they still have great odds of winning in 1st, I use gen 1 horses strictly and I always win 1st as long as I don't fail too many jumps.
@@ravannah5187 I use a normal horse. I don't even have a pintabian, or any of the horses considered fastest. But on all my years as a racer, they were never a big problem to me, so I don't understand why people are so mad about it. I think it makes the championships a little more challenging, if anything. You can win with or without a pintabian, your skill, stats and lvl is what gonna matter most at the end of the day.

Maybe instead of looking for the fastest horse to - again - gain an unfair advantage over other people in racing, which Star Stable continuously tries to avoid, we should just race with whatever horse we like best and have a fair competition with everyone. Because no, needing to buy a specific horse to have a good chance in championships isn't fair. You'll be fine with any other horse which isn't old and broken and therefore the "fastest". The "racing community" is already as toxic as it can be.
It is fair. It isn't cheating, it isn't hacking. You're only using a advantage that already exists to better your odds of coming in 1st place. The difference in speed isn't big anyway, you can win with any horse as long as you're a good racer.
@@catdotcom Intentionally using bugs to get an advantage surely isn't fair. You can win with any horse, but in a situation where you and your opponent are in a head-on-head-race and equally well in champs, that advantage will count and it doesn't determine "who's the better racer", it determines "who has the most money to buy all these horses which are faulty, so I can exploit this to have an advantage"
@@miramoonhaven No horse has the exact same speed as the other, because in a game where all the horses have different, unique animations, you're always bound to have some that will be faster or slower than the others. I'm a racer, and I use exclusively gen 1 horses, and except for when I fail jumps or crash into things, I always come in 1st. If you're a skilled player, the minimal advantage that some horses have won't be a problem. It's more about horse and player lvl, tack, clothes and the horse's mood, anything else won't do much but save you some seconds, that, again, aren't a guarantee that you will win.
@@catdotcom I know all these things and still think it is unfair. I'm a level 23 racer. Even being level 23 is unfair in a sense of advantage. Horses should be a luxury cosmetic, not something you need to have a better chance at winning or progressing anywhere. They should adjust all of the horses. I only use Generation 3 horses and still win, but this is thanks to my 9 years of racing experience and partly Level 23.

Even if the old fjords are gone you can still buy the gen 1 crustys at the horse market before they retire. The gen 1 jorvik pony and the other horses there has the same speed as the old fjord so yeah
If you want a fjord, just buy one. I"ve been playing since 2011 and got them all around the time they released, but there's a huge community of people who buy stuff like the deleted hair, fjords and new/custom horses from cheaters, for as low as 4 USD. The most prominent one is Marie Frazier on the PL servers, but i'm sure there's plenty more though. About the morality behind it, it's an easy fix. They could ban accounts that get them VIA a flagging system like they had with reaching lvl 23 or 24 (can't remember) before december of last year, but their technology is too outdated and they don't care.
I started playing recently again and wondered why people used Morgan’s and Arabians/Pintabians. I ride whatever and have no issues. I’ve won with a Percheron and a Shire, even a Friesian. If you know the shortcuts then I’d say you’re good.
I’m disappointed in Starstable because they changed the Pintabians just for another horse to be the fastest, if the reason to change the Pintabians was suppose to be “all horses should be the same speed” then there’s no point for this because there’s always going to be a fastest horse in the game, they don’t support the old horses anymore but they support the new ones. This was no hate, I really enjoy your videos and I’m happy you took your time to make this video!
True, but they should make different horses fast to be like the Pintabian, so we wouldn’t have to change everything and make it difficult for racing clubs or racers themselves. Overall, it’s not the biggest deal in life but it’s something that’s not making everyone happy in the game.
It was mainly because the "Faster Jump" is a glitch, it never really was supposed to have a fast jump as it did. You can still very much win with any horse, it all really comes down to your skill more than what your horse can do, the fix didn't really change much as everyone is saying it did.
Honestly I don’t think it’s such a big deal at this point, I still won with my Pintabian, you just need high stat tack and know your way around the champ.
When I started the game I gad already missed out on the fjords, Spirit and the pretty limited Chery tree horses. ... I'm at least happy that they put back the Blue mane North horse in the app at least.
Yeah but that’s because ponies are supposed to have a better jump than actual horses 😂 but yeah i’ve used the Jorvik pony model (cuz of the magic ones) because it really is fun to race with them too back before they added xp to racing. Now I don’t race on any level 15 ever for the pure fact that i have way too many horses to train before i go back to racing
Oh no, I only have 1 of the old Fjords. Back when SSO took them out of the game indefinitely I was on a little "break" from the game. Should've checked the news but I didn't. I'm still glad, that I at least have one of them but still....I always like to have a choice for champ horses. But now I know that I can also take out my old Morgan and still be fast enough
They just ended up making it more unfair 'cause not everybody can buy and old fjord XD I was in the game when they were around but I never did the rep and I am sad 'cause fjords are one of my favoritebreeds
Well, the number of old players playing every day is very small so it's not like they will be at every championship on the fjord and you won't be able to win.
Like pintabian, we fights against sso et give their proofs for old fjoords. It took to my clubs one video for SSO knew pintabian were advantaged. So thanks for this video so i can make a report :)
Truth is older gens are getting more and more unstable (see the pun) to the point that they are unresponsive sometimes, so yes it is unfair and people will always find ways to cheat but sso will slow them down or eventually you won't be able to use older gens in champs.
I was wondering, shouldn’t the gen1 north Swedish horses and Gen 1 Irish cobs be as fast as the gen 1 fjords? I believe they have the same animations, and they are still available on the market I wanted to compare their speed but I’m not very good at races
It’s still a very pretty horse though and fun to ride but if you keep riding the horse you’ll see it’s still a very good horse to champ on. There really isn’t a difference in it as everyone keeps complaining about.

@@ravannah5187 it’s not really cheating if everyone can buy the horse. And no I didn’t know two weeks ago that every horse needs to have the same speed. I just started 3 months ago :) It’s still a problem tho, the speed of horses. They should have fixed all horses at the same time and tell players when it would happen so you can make another horse ready. Also, my Jorvik pony is now faster then Pintabian lol. They broke that horse completely.
I forgot that the old Fjord horses were going to give them away, I was just leaving the house and remembered it, unfortunately it was too late and I regret it :((

@@annefan1238 Clothes are different, they boost your stats which is done fairly because that's how it's made in the game. If you read my other comments you will know why it's cheating. I mean it's literally a glitch! (I am under every comments who encourage using glitches yes. We shouldn't encourage ppl to use glitched things, I thought it was easy to see but ppl are too desperate I guess.)
i think its unfair they took away the jump stats they obviously dont care about the racing community too much when they say they dont fix the gen 2s anymore
It wasn't actually a jump stat, it was a glitch and what you're seeing in this video is still glitched horses, don't expect them to stay the same. Instead of cheating, just pick any horse and play fairly with your own skills.
I'm glad SSO fixed this breed. This disgusting feeling when you do not make a single mistake, but come 5-7 seconds late. In every championship you take 2nd or 3rd place if not worse, depending on the number of such SmArtiEs on pintabians lmao. I have money and I can buy this horse, but I never wanted to cheat. My respect to those people who also didn't buy a horse just for the advantage in the championships 😌
