"Might even be Max Renown when this video goes out" Hah, short-lived statement aint it... I did reach Renown 1200 though. :) Appreciate the shoutouts though. Also shoutouts to Churmite, Sh4ft (John Payday) and any other grinder who's been around to grind Renown on NRFTW for 13+ hours straight for multiple days. ^^
It's sad knowing that the one tech which skips some of the most boring parts of heists (Circles), will most likely be patched next update. Until then, God bless Battering Ram
Leaving with 19 perfect bags still rewards less IP than a Gold&Sharke with all bags. Compare at least 45 minutes of sweating blood to 15 minutes easy peasy, walk in and out. I'm not touching that heist again if it remains seriously this unrewarding.
@@thewhistler6537 Oh yeah, same, not having them as Tools, instead being "Lockpick doors and deposit boxes instantly after one click if you have Rush" and "Sprint through a door to open it if you have Edge, Grit or Rush" is anti-fun in comparison
I played for few hours yesterday and it felt much better after a longer break. The new sounds, the quick matchmaking, no problems with finding ppl to play with, the animations, new progression system. It was a fun session
My internet connection got worse as soon as I started boarding my college, and this kinda shown me how important the offline mode is, because the game is literally unplayable, and just crashes left right and center
And for people who only want to quickly level up your weapons, you can rush dirty ice with 4 bags on hard dificulty in under 3 minutes for easy 1500+ weapon xp. My solo record has been 2: 17. Playing on harder difficulties will give you more weapon xp but will require more bags to finish and may spawn additional guards in unwanted places.
Glad to see this video in my recommended. A couple days ago I've started play the game for the first time since late October and needed some pointers with what the meta is since I stopped playing. cheers
Can you make more build setup video's for example with the new shotgun with the latest skills and stealth related so there's more variety than just using the a114
I'm still in the "hard to learn" phase of PD3 still, but with this ill be closer to the "Easy to Madter Phase" now. All I need now is to learn builds more thoroughly.
As nice as it would be to finally grind out the rest of the levels so I can actually try all those broken-for-one-patch skills that keep coming and going to try and actually squeeze some fun out of this game, I think the hardest part of most of these strats would be actually convincing anyone else to boot up Payday 3 in mid-2024.
@@beefygaming_realnofake I really dont want to PD3 tranform in a crazy mess PD2 became over the years. Even though we're already in that path, it will be another crazy power fantasy, you kids love that shit.
@@Moji55a Its not so much that, but he skill trees, akimbo smg and shotguns, rpgs, miniguns and so on. Running around tanking damage like nothing, drinking licore, reviving with a shout, making cops shoot their team... all that "crazy" shit.
depends what playstyle you like. Personally, I started playing 2 weeks ago with preference to stealth. So I just went through all of the stealth missions on normal which got me close to 30, this is also the same time the update dropped. Meaning you could reach level 30 faster with the update. I can't vouch for lower levels but at minimum of 30 levels I can reliably solo stealth all loot - gold n sharke on overkill which nets me 2k exp per run. This ofc was not as fast as the video suggested since I'm new to pd3. First few runs ranged about 20-25 mins(not using battering ram), with more levels, skills, and actual experience playing I've been chipping away at that 20-25 and I'm now level 70
There is still so many aspects of this game that deters me from playing. They need to seriously get rid of the skill and armor system they have and give us GOOD new heists. Every single heist in the game is completely terrible besides Cook Off and Murky Station (surprise surprise it's PD2 heists). Edge, rush, and grit needs to go as well and give us proper BUILDS to use. We still have another good year to go in my opinion before this is playable.
I was wondering if you have any interest in going back to do a video on the perspective of console players of Payday 2 and how they feel about Payday 3? Getting the perspective of your broader community and stuff. Most videos I come across criticizing/ranting against Payday 3 are from the perspective of people on PC, who have been fed a steady stream of updates for ten years, rather than console players who were left behind years ago.
I think I get your point and it does sound interesting! Are you saying that Console players are more like to be accepting of Payday 3’s rocky launch because at least the promise of parity has been maintained? My personal perspective is that Starbreeze are woefully inexperienced when it comes to developing for consoles and a lot of the technical issues with Payday 3 are a result of over promising with crossplay ect. I’m genuinely glad console players are being treated better this time around, but I also wonder where the game would be on PC if they’d accepted their limitations from the start.
@@TheKknowley To a point, I did find myself more accepting of the game's state due to the console payday 2 experience. Parity between the PC and Console versions has made it more bearable to wait for updates, knowing that there kind of has to be parity due to the game's crossplay feature. I guess if it's gonna be bad it's nice to know we're all in the same shitty boat, rather than potentially getting left behind. All of this said as someone who regularly plays payday 2 and payday 3 on console and enjoys both! (Although I do find the game very easy at the moment and so have been playing more Payday 2.)
I played this day ine through the first disastrous 2 months than quit completely. What has I proved since? ( unless something has changed, challenges don't matter I was over 100 something)
Even though I’m aware of the colloquial difference hearing “1st floor” in reference to what I as an American call the second floor cause a brief brain fart
The game still feels flat? I don't know how to word it but the soundtrack whilst very good, doesn't really feel as punchy as the last game's. The heists are a bit boring, like I don't know what the story is and why I'm doing the stuff I'm doing besides just for the sake of it. I also think the game doesn't throw as many enemies at you which I wish wasn't the case as the game doesn't feel as chaotic as PD2. I really want to like the game but it just still feels drab and boring to play overall despite the cool animations, better visuals and better performance. I just wish I had never bought this game :( (this is just my opinion)
I kinda hate the new system because players can be max level and have no idea what they’re doing, I had a level 144 that went down twice and used 4 extra armor plates by the 4 minute mark of a heist, we were in stealth half the time and he joined late… how can you be near max level and I higher level than me and lose 8 armor plates and go down twice within effectively a minute 30 seconds in a very hard heist
@@knavenformed9436 I actually think semi-ironic masks work quite well in any Payday game. Nothing scarier than 4 fellas running up to you in actual Austin Powers Mask like it’s Baby Driver.
@@TheKknowley I'm a bit 50|50 on it, I'd just have preferred to wait a while longer before jumping the shark But yeah if it's what the community wants then sure, I'll keep my art-deco ass Bionicle mask for myself.
DIRTY ICE IS MY FAV IT GIVES BETWEEN 16 HUND TO 18 HUND XP I RUN THAT ONE ALL DAY LONG AND HAVE BEEN LEVNING UP HELLA FAST TO GET TO 150 AND EVEN AFTER 150 MARK
im a Whore for level grinding and i couldnt care less about the boring aahh PD3 Level System, if i want to have a boring 3 digit Number that means absolutely nothing, i go back to Payday: The Heist, where that boring level atleast had some Meaning.
So what is everybody doing next week when you reached lvl150 and you got over 200 millions cash when there are no more challenges? Really great update 🤦
@@TheKknowley The real joy was to grind all the challenges to finish everything and get more points to lvl up. Now everybody who spent hours over hours, best example to complete road rage 280 times, has been punished.
@@blueberryone6407 Ohhh I'm not sure large portions of the community agree, although it's a shame they haven't repurposed challenges to make them more interesting.
Why is the "Shit-eating-grin" mask so awful to look at? What happened to the masks in payday? They were literally some of the best customization tools in GAMING period. I don't mean to be negative. I mean, I am, but still. It doesn't have to be this bad
Any tips on guaranteeing the Loud bonus for dirty ice? I’ve been running it in 2-4 man variations, just on Hard, but most of our most recent 2-man runs didn’t trigger the loud bonus despite masking up, shooting loud weapons, and triggering the alarm before touching a single bag or loose piece of jewelry.
@spxyu02 I think you have to survive one round of police, that guarantees you the Loud Bonus. If you end the heist before the end of the first round of police, you won't get the bonus. If you want to be REALLY sure you got it, you can always hold out until Final Charge
Ha! They still have a long way before I consider re-downloading. The first step is fulfilling their contractual obligation of 5 dlcs in this year, otherwise at every step, us pre-order players, especially on Playstation were screwed over the hardest. How hard? Several of my friends *STILL* haven't gotten their pre-order cosmetics.
@@TheKknowley I would love to but don’t plan on it. I waited 10 years for payday 3 because I loved payday 2 and then we got what we got. Starbreeze needs to learn a hard lesson that they can’t just release an unfinished, content light, and broken game and expect people to actually keep playing or even pay money for dlc.
